Celebrate with Liz

Liz was the most wonderful, down-to-earth, fun and helpful celebrant we could've imagined. She had such a positive and fun energy on the day, which many of our guests commented on. This set the tone for our whole celebration!Liz was so incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, and provided us with such valuable resources to help us write our vows and to tailor our ceremony to be a true reflection of who we are & how we wanted to celebrate.We really loved Liz's unique approach. She took her time to understand our style, and offered wonderful & helpful suggestions to help bring it to life.It really felt like we were just hanging out with a friend, and we loved having Liz be a part of our day.

I can’t express how amazing Liz was from the beginning all the way through to the end - the ceremony was my favourite part of the whole day. Liz is fun, warm and so kind. She really listened to every little detail and put together the best script for our ceremony.Everybody loved her and couldn’t stop raving on about how good our ceremony was.I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!!!!

We are beyond grateful that we chose Liz to be our celebrant on our wedding day. She is warm, funny, professional and a very clear communicator. Liz made the whole process an absolute breeze. We were surprised at all the hours she put in to really get to know us and how she was able to reflect everything we told her in our ceremony on the day - she is without a doubt the best listener and an absolute word wizard. We wanted a light, relaxed wedding and we are still hearing from family and friends that it was one of their favourite ceremonies that they have attended. We only have Liz to thank for everyone enjoying it so much - There was lots of laughter, some tears and we continue to get fond feedback on how genuine, personable and engaging Liz’s whole script was with multiple guests saying they were completely hooked in to what she was saying and eager to hear what she would say next. It’s a bit sad now not having an excuse to catch-up with Liz for a drink and a chat!

Liz was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend her! We were lucky enough to have her as our celebrant and MC for our wedding. She captured our story so brilliantly and had people crying and laughing throughout. She guided us through the whole process and we would have been lost without her. She is a true professional and we can't thank her enough!!!

Oh my god I genuinely could not recommend Liz more highly if I tried. She’s one of those people that you come across in life and she instantly makes you feel at ease and like you’re in the greatest of hands.Like so many people in Liz’s circle we started as strangers who quickly became friends after meeting at a wedding industry event. She didn’t know we were looking for a celebrant but by the end of the night it felt like we’d been sitting next to an old friend.Little did we know that would be the start of a beautiful story of endless wines, cheese, lots of laughs, some celebrant stuff but mostly just hanging out with someone we’re now lucky enough to call a friend (we loved her so much she ended up becoming a wedding guest too!!)In the lead up to our wedding day Liz was amazing for bouncing questions and ideas off of and she gave us a million different ideas of what our ceremony could look like. She was professional but not too serious and I felt like she really listened to us throughout the whole process. On the day, so many of our guests commented that it was the best ceremony they’d witnessed - that it wasn’t generic or boring and was lighthearted and funny but also very genuine and it felt like she really knew us and our story.Liz is honestly one in a million - she’s captivating, funny, thoughtful, well spoken, organised, kind and knows just the right things to say.I’m sad our wedding is over because I enjoyed our catch-ups so much but we’re really looking forward to many more wines with her in the future as friends.

We recently had a double wedding with my daughter and her partner. The day was more than we could have hoped for.We cannot speak highly enough of Elizabeth Shaw our celebrant and MC.Liz’s attention, dedication and thoughtfulness in getting to know us, and people important to us, was so impressive. It shone on the day when she delivered her welcome, ceremony and ‘your story’. It was also crucial behind the scenes as she guided us on our vows and many other aspects of the wedding.The four of us wanted a loving, sincere but light and relaxed occasion for us and our 80 guests. Liz was pivotal in helping us achieve this. For all of the formal aspects of the wedding she excelled. Quite a few people in our party (some of them musicians who attend many weddings) commented on how wonderful Liz was on the day.In addition to Liz’s commitment and professionalism is her inter-personal skills and her ability to ‘read’ the moment keeping everyone engaged and entertained, striking the right balance of solemnity with joy throughout the day.We commend Liz to anyone wanting a superb celebrant.

Where do we begin to put into words how much we loved Liz marrying us? Perhaps with the first meeting.. From the moment we had our first coffee date with Liz, we knew she was the one we wanted to marry us. She made us feel instantly at ease (which is definitely also what you want when you're up there at the end of the aisle on the real day), made us laugh, and importantly, listened to the ideas and vision we had for our wedding.It's such a personal thing for someone to marry you, to know your love story, and to share it with your friends and family on the biggest day of your life. You definitely want the right person doing it justice! And Liz is just that person. We had heaps of friends and family complimenting us after the wedding saying how engaging, entertaining, and heartwarming the ceremony was. We knew we didn't want a super traditional ceremony, that sometimes feels like it drags on. And on an inevitably hectic day that is the wedding day, and the weeks leading up to it, you want someone who'll keep you on track (like giving you lots of notice to get your vows in) as well as providing a calming presence to the whole party on the day.We can't recommend Liz enough to anyone who's looking for a celebrant. In amongst all the decisions you will have to make along the way planning a wedding, let this one be the easiest one because it's an absolute no brainer. If we had our time again, we'd choose Liz 1000x over <3Amy & Brad xx

We absolutely loved having Liz as our celebrant! We had no idea what we really wanted in our ceremony, but she listened to our requests and planned the perfect one for us. We had so many comments from our guests how it was the best wedding ever - so thank you Liz for making our dream ceremony come true!

Amber and I had the privilege of having Liz as our celebrant, we were married on the 9th Dec at Polperro Winery. I feel that Liz didn’t just bring the day together, she was instrumental in the lead up. Liz spent time getting to know us (sure a few wines were had) and understanding the people that are important to us and then on the day Liz took all that knowledge gained and told a magnificent story which resulted in a wonderful environment where everyone was at ease and part of our big day.
