My daughter, normally very shy has learnt more confidence in herself and in her abilities since joining. She loves learning the Japanese that goes along with the physical training. Highly recommend!!

My 7 year old son has ASD and is developing such great skills with Sensei Melinda at Shinkyokushin Karate Port Macquarie. After school requests karate and exercise and is so keen to get to his class. Sensei has terrific activities to motivate and get his focus and after classes we arrange new foods to try as a reward and reinforcement for the fun sessions and great effort. Highly recommend

Mel is a amazing teacher ,very disciplined and dedicated. Small but amazing. Our son loves going to his classes and is given so many opportunities that most clubs do not give. The extra time and attention given to the students in addition to their scheduled classes to ensure they are constantly improving is appreciated. Affordable family friendly rates. Highly experienced instructor and the kids love training with her. There is everything what you need, good fitness nice atmosphere.New dojo is much better than old.Kids are having really good results in competitions on state and nationsl level.
