Meal was absolutely terrible!! Used to be a treat to have one of the meals from this establishment. Meat was dry ,what there was of it, there wasn’t any crackling and it had obviously been played up for a while( meal was delivered) as the peas were a greyish green . I won’t be ordering from here again. Sooooo disappointing in an economic climate where you think twice before spending money on takeaway.

If you are dying for a home cooked meal and thinking of mums roast then this is the place to go. You can get roast meat and veg or chips or scallop potatoes smothered in delicious gravy. Generous serves. A few other things and some desserts. Lasagne available too. Very delicious and heart warming.

Wait times here are excessive, the prices are high yet they have no staff. Meat was like rubber, incredibly chewy and tough. Roast vege were so watery, bland and mushy. Gravy was flavourless. Will not return.

As other have said this is a fantastic place. Great food and large servings. The roast rolls with chips feed 2 ppl.The pork and lamb was excellent. Full of flavour and tender meat. Highly recommend. Get gravy.

Best roasted pork. Just amazing how it can be so tender but the skin is very crispy! Love the portion and how they serve various veges and gravy tgt.+second visit and again brilliant food with nice lady serving!

I don't know how to even start this without sounding mean. I work in good prep. I've worked in hospitality for over a decade and I have the utmost respect for those in the field.But this had to be awful on purpose surely. There's no other way I can see how food can be this bland. Scallop potatoes and creamy cauliflower without season basically equals an unpleasant experience in both taste and texture. We did all we could to fix it at home but it was just a lost cause. The meat on the roast rolls was dry and also kinda tasteless.It's like whoever made it just didn't care. At all.Or maybe it's just deliberately bad. I honestly don't know. I'm truly baffled: Why? Or how? Why would you do it? Or how did it happen?

Found this place on our road trip back to Sydney. What a gem! Along with a satisfying meal, their dessert was to die for! Not sure if they make it themselves but get the TRIFLE. I'm not a sweets person but devoured the while thing!

If I could give them a minus figure I would. Rang Carv it up after ordering through Menu Log. Had seen the store many times and thought we would give it a try. Very disappointing we paid $54 for 2 meals the pork was totally stewed ,very tasteless. When I rang the shop the Manager acted quite surprised when I told her how disappointed we were with the meal. No apologies her comment was that we must have received the end of the roast? Now after reading all the reviews I realise this was not a one off" event. Very poor customer service and we won't be back."

2023: visited again and it's still great food and great value. So good to get real food when you're on the road! Small pork meal only cost about $10, or about $12 with a drink - that's cheaper than a take away value meals at a chain restaurant.2018: Generous servings, good food, awesome crackling, staff patient with my elderly mum. We loved being able to get a hot roast while travelling!
