Couldn't be happier with the service we received from GI Energy. From initial quote, to booking the work, and then the installation itself, the servicing and quality of work was excellent. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get solar installed!

I was very cautious about investing in solar a second time around after my first system was poorly installed, this time however, I took my time choosing the right company for my solar and I’m very pleased with the way GI Energy was able to meet my (very high) expectations.They were able to give me a quote and then Taylor it to my needs to ensure I got exactly what I needed. I had a-lot of questions and Joel was there to answer them all time after time lolThe company was well organized and passed on all my requirements to the installers. Just a note GI Energy used a third party installer that at first I borked at, Joel explained to me that they were the best in the business and that’s why they use them and this became very evident on install day.These guys were great! I mean great :) they had full control of the install with no time limits or pressure of any kind. I could not have been happier with the finished results, the attention to detail and customer focus was something you just don’t see anymore and it’s been a long time since I’ve felt like I got what I paid for a high quality system with an install to match.Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.Jamie T

Matt was quick to return my call and gave a quote on the same day.The installation guys turned up on time, informed me of what was going to happen during the course of the day.They completely stripped my old system out, and had my new one in and up and running before 3.00 o'clock. I can't praise them enough for the professional, courteous,manner in which they carried out the work. The best couple of tradesmen you will ever meet. On completion they left my place spotless and connected the inverter to the grid and put the app on my phone so I could see instantly the output of my new system[at that time of day and a few clouds around,it was pumping out far more than the old one]I have no hesitation recommending this company to anyone who is interested in a quality solar system,cheers guys for the outstanding work from start to finish.

Very happy with my solar install from GI Energy. Before signing up with GI Energy I did a lot of research and obtained multiple quotes from 5 suppliers. GI was the real standout. While prices were not too dissimilar I found Matt's customer service efforts to be superb. From the first call to all the short Q&A calls/emails I was always well informed with many options on the table. In the end i chose a 10kW system of higher spec and definitely happy having made the choice. The guys came to measure up and made some adjustments due to roof screw positioning but it only resulted in a reduction of 1 panel which was not an issue. The communication from the install team was also very easy and they are a really nice bunch of guys. Vanessa in the office is also lovely to deal with. GI Energy pride themselves on customer service and being available to support you long after your install is completed. In this day and age that type of customer service is worth its weight in gold. Thanks Vanessa.The installation was done by Ollie and his team over two days. Very polite and patient answering my questions and instructing me on the system. And they left the site clean and tidy. Thanks guys.System is performing above expectations and I’ve now ordered a 22.4 kWh battery and some additional panels. Looking forward to be self sufficient power wise.Highly recommend GI Energy. Don’t forget to ask for Tom Dye when you call.CheersMickMay 2023 Update. Now 6 months since the additional panels and the 25.6 kWh battery was installed. Each month Ergon adds around $60 credit to my account. Now $360 sitting there.Highly recommend getting the biggest array and battery system you can afford.But make sure you get a site visit early and ask for confirmation in writing that battery will fit. The regulations about the placement near windows and other services will dictate where you can place them and possible limit the size.Thanks again.

GI Energy came as a recommendation from a friend who was very happy with his installation. From the initial contact with Luke I confident that this was the right solar supplier for me. He was understanding of my situation and was patient until I made the decision to proceed. From there the communication with Luke, Vanessa and the installer was outstanding. Installation day went smoothly and the team did a great job without a hiccup. My north facing roof is visible from the street so aesthetics was an important factor for me as well and the end result exceeded my expectations. I am yet to receive a quarterly bill from my electricity provider which has the full solar generation benefit of my 8kW system but the partial solar bill I have received saw around 35% saving on my normal $1000 bill so I was very happy with that result. Overall I can highly recommend GI Energy to anybody who is considering a solar installation.

I got three quotes and GI Energy provided what I felt was the best system available. It was not the cheapest but after researching the products and the company it looked like the best option. The whole process was super easy and the installers on the day were great to deal with. I can see from my online monitoring that the solar is producing more energy than they promised in their quotation. I also had lots of questions after the install and they took a lot of time to go through everything with me. I am very happy and I have already recommended them to a few friends.A very professional company who have been really easy to deal with pre and post install. If I had to do it all again, I would definitely use GI Energy

Had a 10.79kw system installed May 2023 in Sandgate - was very impressed with GI Energy and their attention to detail with the system - on time, quick, efficient and very obliging. If you are thinking of getting solar don't risk such an important investment by trying to save a few dollars. Recommend GI and their quality, state of the art products and service.
