The Bakers Cafe
Where do I even begin…I visited this establishment while holidaying in Cabarita with my family. We were really hungry and decided to stop at this cafe because it was right in front of us. Firstly, the staff are really rude, especially the older one with brunette hair. She didn’t smile once and seemed uninterested. I even witnessed her handing over another customers coffee while on the telephone, nearly dropping it. The girl that brought our order out was also rude, asking us “which one is which”, definitely haven’t heard anyone on the Gold Coast say it this way. They also forgot an order so I had to go in and remind them.The spinach feta roll was not fresh at all, the curry pie was bland. The schnitzel roll was bland as well - two pieces of shrivelled lettuce in the middle and dried out sauce the size of a 50c coin. We also ordered tea which was nothing like tea. They filled a coffee cup less than half way with water and dumped a tea bag into it.

If you’re after an apple turnover and maybe a coffee then this place is for you, friendly service & good food, seats for a get together, you can’t go wrong here!

If you've just finished your weekly Saturday morning parkrun at nearby Kingscliff, then this is a really good place to wind down with a well earned delicious coffee. Bacon and egg rolls are a big hit here too. Nice sunny spot outdoors adds to the experience.

The Bakers Cafe is only a short walk from where we are staying so decided to have a light breakie.Nice looking cafe with outdoor seating only. Good selection to choose from such as eggs Benedict, pancakes, veggie breakfast to name a few. We opted for a bacon and egg roll, vege pie and mochas. Cost $23.39 not sure how the 39c got there?The roll was over toasted it was very crunchy making it very dry, only a slice bacon and the egg. Very ordinary. The pie was just warm and it wasn’t like we got there at opening and the contents very bland mostly mash with a few greens and carrot thrown in for colour. The tomato sauce was the only condiment that gave it flavour. The pastry was the nicest part, light and crunchy even the base.My Hubbie asked the barista to make sure the mochas were ‘burning’ hot unfortunately she didn’t make to instruction and they were medium heat so by the time breakie was finished they were just warm. Even though the mocha was warm it was pretty good.Looked like a popular spot, people popping in to get their morning caffeine fix and fresh bread.Not somewhere I’m likely to go again.

Was not going to post this but a bakery that is proud of its products should not be able to give customers day old at least that , the pepper pie I purchased had the wire marks from the pie warmer branded info it was dry and hard threw it in the bin I think it was more like 2 dsys old reheated again and again , have purchased from this bakery before but not going back again

Very good value for the money. Burger with softdrink $10 only.It tastes much better than it looks.The people behind the counter could be a bit more welcoming and at least pretend that they like their job.It was hard to find a clean table outside in the shade. It was just us and one other guest there.

These clowns have no issue selling old stale salad rolls full price.Highly recommend you do not come to this bakery. It’s trash.

Saturday Morning, Staff not organised, We ordered 3 different pies all had no flavour and not up to temperature.Coffee 3 different coffees. Thank you coffee fantastic.
