What a view. Seating area at the back makes for a refreshing break with water views. There's a good example of the the dry wall flooring in the quaint cottage.

Well preserved old building. Would have liked to view inside but hard to supervise. Good view of lake. Rest parking at side of road. Free.

Lake Hamilton Eating House
On the Flinders Highway between Lake Hamilton and Round Lake is a lovely little restored homestead. Built around the 1850's, this eating house was a stopping place for coaches and travellers. Take the time to stop and check it out. You can enter via the front or rear door and look inside at a time gone by and even sign the guest book of your visit.
