Gym on Grimshaw 24/7

Finally found a gym I feel comfortable attending. Not only are Dave and Liv a great support and equiped with the right skill and knowledge but the whole Gym on Grim community has started to feel like family. Really enjoying being a member of this gym and looking forward to my journey towards fitness here.

My partner and I have had a very positive experience at this gym. We have been to several and find the equipment here the best. It’s spacious and has an unpretentious atmosphere. It’s also not too busy and we have always been able to access whatever we need when we have attended. Also, I am sensitive to chemicals and love the fact that the space does not have poisonous ‘air fresheners’ intermittently spraying toxic fumes into an unventilated space as per my experience in some gyms in the past. Instead, fresh air circulates thanks to doors open to the outside when possible. Car parking is always available and the owner Dave is friendly and down to earth, walking the talk and embodying fitness goals. Another huge plus in my experience is the on-site infrared sauna for a reasonable cost (cheapest I have found in Melbourne). On that note, membership is also a very reasonable price, does not include annoying fixed term contracts (you can cancel at any time) and includes Dave’s regular group fitness classes which are awesome (he is a very encouraging and kind trainer) and push you beyond where you’d go working out alone. All in all, would definitely recommend.

I tried this place out a few days ago and I really wanted to like it. However, I found the weightlifting equipment to leave much to be desired (especially the bench press). Just older clunky equipment. Credit to the gym though for their provision of latex bands, ski row, curved treadmills and reformer Pilates machine. Just wasnt my vibe and as a woman I’d be uncomfortable going as the only one in the gym.

First time at this gym. As a casual it's a little clunky as it's not staffed and you have to order your pass online then call them when you arrive, took at little while for me to get in (but person on the phone was very nice and apologetic). It's a small gym, but has everything you need, stuff well laid out, not too busy, bathroom with showers. Good gym and casual entry was only $10 which is very good comparatively.

Gym on Grimshaw is a fantastic local gym. Great vibes and energy, modern equipment, tidy and clean, 24/7 access, high quality coffee and supplements. The staff members are friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. Strongly recommended.

I have been training with Dave for a few months now and have been really impressed. He balances overall health with your achieving your goals. I always feel supported to push myself but never stressed. It is classic PT with a focus on you! 10/10

Good local gym which is continually improving. They have group classes as well. They also donated a days takings to recent Bushfire victims, that's pretty bloody good.

Been going to this gym on and off for almost a decade. The staff have always been friendly and there isn't some bulked up, 'how much can you bench' culture. I've been in there for fitness and rehab and each time it's been incredibly supportive and welcoming.
