Thank you Kylie for a great stay! It's a really beautiful barn, with everything new, functional and well designed. Very clean place. We loved the small garden, proximity to the town and regional attractions, beautiful linen, cozy fireplace and even coffee machine + milk frother. Kylie provided breakfast and accommodated for our dietary restrictions. Will be happy to be back!

The Barn is a must stay 5* boutique stay in Woodend where you can relax in the luxury of a perfectly fitted out cottage. You can hide away in the privacy of your own yard, indoors by the fire or be in the local village in moments. You are central to everything going on in the Ranges and you won’t find better accommodation than here. Kylie makes a fantastic host and everything has been thought of for your stay. Highly recommend.

Kylie was a wonderful host. The Barn was modern, functional and with lovely rustic touches throughout. The slow combustion wood heater was a little ripper! A great base to experience this wonderful part of the world. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The Barn simply has the WOW factor! From the moment you step into the secluded courtyard and then open the door to the luxurious decor you know you have chosen the very best. The generous breakfast provisions including homemade granola and farm fresh eggs, the quality linen and appliances, the spacious bathroom with the best shower ever, the relaxing living area and very functional kitchen ensures a most comfortable stay. Kylie’s communication before, during and after was much appreciated and never intrusive. A wonderful and conveniently located base to explore the local region. Can’t recommend this country retreat enough!

Great place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city. Everything about the The Barn was so comfortable, convenient and relaxing. The fireplace is such a great feature and very easy to use. The welcome breakfast pack adds a special touch and was delicious (thank you for the Easter eggs as well!). The bed was very comfortable (I haven’t slept that deeply in a while) and bathroom was clean with excellent water pressure in the shower. The location was perfect, just up the road from the main strip of shops in Woodend and a short drive to Kyneton and Mount Macedon. Given everything was so close, we could do and see everything we wanted in a day whilst still sleeping in! Thank you again for the hospitality, we absolutely loved our stay here.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to experience a beautiful few days. The Barn Woodend would be wonderful all year around but we chose Winter for our getaway and we loved it. Everything is thought of including the detailed information we received at the time of booking. This is boutique accommodation at its best with exquisite furnishings, linens and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on. Our host Kylie had the fire going for when we arrived and we felt instantly at home from the moment we stepped in the door. It's also quiet and private. We highly recommend The Barn Woodend and we will certainly be returning. Oh, and need to mention the homemade granola and pumpkin bread Kylie provided. All in all a truly special place.

Kylie and Mark are excellent hosts. The property is beautifully furnished with every comfort you could want. This well thought out space offers a lux country feel, with privacy and a lovely outdoor area. Breakfast provisions of house made granola and freshly laid eggs are a wonderful touch

It's magic! A world away from the bustle of the city which is what I wanted. I was there for work as we were photographing a project in Trentham, needed a place to stay and came across the Barn. I cannot now wait to bring my husband back for a weekend. I was there midweek and it was amazing.Kylie is lovely and responsive. I am a designer so I appreciated all of the design elements and lush fabrics used in this property. Perfectly designed for a couple to retreat and relax. Beautiful outdoors areas for Summer/Spring with cosy couches + fire place for Wintery days/nights.The thoughtful things left to enjoy was an unexpected but delightful treat.The wee town of Woodend is cute and has everything you need but the surrounding towns like Kyneton , Trentham, Daylesford are a short drive away to explore more.Everything I reached for was in this wee gem of a place.Thank you Kylie, cannot wait to come back.
