IKEA: Fun, Food, Adventure! If you're in Adelaide and looking for a good time, head over to IKEA! Yes, you read that right, the furniture store is not just for assembling flat-packs and feeling frustrated with those pesky Allen keys.First off, let's talk about the meatballs. Oh my goodness, those meatballs. They're so delicious, I could eat them every day and never get sick of them. They're like little balls of happiness that make your taste buds dance with joy.But that's not all, the store itself is like a giant maze that you get to explore. It's like a real-life game of Where's Waldo, but instead of searching for a striped-shirted man, you're on the hunt for the perfect couch or dresser. And let's not forget the joy of getting lost in the maze and pretending you're in a Swedish adventure movie. And the best part? The prices are so reasonable that you'll have enough money left over to buy some of those Swedish delicacies in the food court. Who needs caviar when you can have a cinnamon bun the size of your face? So, if you're looking for a fun day out that won't break the bank, head over to IKEA in Adelaide. You'll come for the furniture, but you'll stay for the meatballs and adventure.

I don't think I need to explain ikea, but if you're never been, go there with a friend or whatever and just look around. You're almost certain to find something you'll want, there's so many small household items with unique designs. Even if you don't find anything, you've just had a good evening pretending you live in all the sets, taking pictures in every mirror you see. Some of the furniture is 10/10, some will probably fall apart in a couple years if your rough with it. It's what you pay for though, just have to be realistic about what you need.Went to the restaurant for the first time ever yesterday and I was not dissapointed. It's a mix between American school cafeteria and a scifi movie.Got the meatballs of course, which my girlfriend and I described as 'The meal'. Feels like you live on a mars settlement and it's our scheduled mealtime; you go in, grab your tray, receive your allocated 'The meal' and go to your table. The food was good actually, like a home dinner that your mun left in the microwave until you got back from whatever extracurricular activity you do.

Always has something someone needs for the whole household.Service isn’t so great and hard to get assistance, focus is shoppers are self sufficient and able to self serve from the collection areas.Glad the store has short cuts now so there’s no need to go through the whole store just check out.

I don't recommend the PAX setup.I have bought 5x units to build a walk in robe. Some notable things that stand out.1) The backs are a two piece ultra thin card joined with a piece of tape. Its absolutely rubbish, go buy something with either a solid back, or open back with a stronger frame.2) Ikea don't sell filler pieces. its rare you will get the perfect fit with the 100, 75, or 50. You will not have the option of closing any gaps easily.Contact a cabinet maker and get something better. If they fixed these items i would say they are a 3.5-4 star product.

Our family and my business has never had a problem with IKEA until today. My wife attended the store to purchase some glass containers and when a price discrepancy appeared at check out she asked the staff for help. The issue was that the lid and container needed to be scanned separately which was not clear as the website indicated listed the item as container with lid.On asking the staff member (around 11am) for help instead of explaining the seperate lid issue the lady (Caucasian) accused my wife of trying not to scan both parts and that she would be stopped by security and arrested for shop lifting. In the end after being treated so poorly my wife left the containers.Your manager needs to reassess which staff are at a customer service role and consider serious training.I was about to spend a few thousand dollars for my business warehouse fixtures but because of this will reassess that purchase.

First visit to IKEA since returning to Adelaide after living interstate for 12 years. I wasn't impressed. Super crowded, hard to park, store was like a rabbit warren. There were lots of items, some reasonable value, but others were just meh. Decided to try the cafeteria, a big mistake! Waited around 25 minutes in line to buy the meatballs, chips and a coffee. The meatballs were nice but nothing special, the chips were typical. My wife said the coffee (which came from a self serve coffee machine) was terrible. We wouldn't go back to the cafeteria again, not worth the time or $$. We did buy quite a few items of furniture, and had a friendly staff member help us load the heavy items onto a trolley - nice. Definitely should have stayed away Easter weekend. Fingers crossed the furniture is good quality.

Ikea is a great place to shop. The cafeteria has the best pork ribs you will find as well as an assortment of other great foods.I love the way they have complete rooms set up to give you ideas you haven't thought of.Everything you see you can buy, it's fantastic, there's something there for everyone. Go check it out...

Prices for some products have gone up recently due to inflation but it's still a great place to buy quality products cheaper than anywhere else.Hot dog for $1.50 from the kiosk downstairs is a bargain and the food from the upstairs restaurant is perfectly fine for a quick, cheap meal.Always finish your shop by checking out bargain corner. Big discounts.
