Toms Towing

Worked for this company for 10months. Owner refused to pay me my last 2 payslips and claims i owe him money.... DO NOT work for Tom's Towing. He's a thief and not a very nice person to work for (arrogant, hangs up on you, self-centered, aggressive if you have even a minor disagreement, doesnt have a truck license but thinks he knows more about the road laws than you do (I have an MC license........), lowers the amount he pays you from 1 week to the next)

Aggressive dangerous drivers, tried to run me off the freeway just now near St Kilda, tailgating, beeping and flashing their high beams at me when there was a huge truck next to me and I couldn’t change lanes.

Great. We're able to help us same day, driver was fantastic. Very accommodating.

Tom's Towing brought my car back to Adelaide after I hit a Roo near Burra. The young bloke that turned up was fantastic, he was empathic with what happened and took the utmost care with my car - even sent me a couple of pics when it was delivered to the holding yard. Ditto for the interstate driver who delivered my car to QLD, he too was an excellent ambassador for Tom's Towing - he got the car to me earlier than expected and took the utmost care with it. Couldn't be happier with Tom's Towing - highly recommended.

Drivers are aggressive & dangerous. A teenager driving a Toms Towing truck, cut me off turning onto Tapleys Hill Rd at peak hour today, simply because he was being impatient. Certainly not good advertising for the company nearly causing an accident & after reading other reviews I now realise this wasn’t a once off.

Spoke to this guy on the phone to help with a towing issue, he was abrasive, rude, impatient and has clearly never heard of the concept of being helpful or polite. Absolutely terrible manners. Just a deeply unpleasant person to talk to.

Had a large item to move, worked their hardest to get it moved, didn't give up, worked in frustrating conditions, never got annoyed, very careful. Successful delivery.

My review is based off of a driver today, who was tailgating me and failing to break at appropriate times.If it's peak hour and I have to slam breaks on because the traffic Infront of me does the truck needs to follow or to begin with not be so close that it's dangerous - allow 3 second gap as per law -I called the towing company whilst the truck was behind me and the guy who answered the phone was polite and apologetic but when he phoned the guy driving the truck to let him know to back off, the driver blatantly disregarded his actions and was saying I didn't know what I was doing and implying that it was my fault he was tailgating me, the way he spoke was completely unprofessional and once again this shows that truck drivers need harsher penalties and more surveillance of what they are doing.

Damaged my vehicle unloading. Watched it with my own eyes. Thet took no responsibility at all. Steer clear of this lot of cowboys
