AV Truck Services | Iveco & Hyundai Trucks

The level of service provided by AV Trucks is appalling. 6 weeks ago I called to book in the company Hyundai Mighty truck which we have. We have multiple issues with the truck and I understand that AV Trucks have only recently taken over Hyundai, though that is no excuse for the experienceI have had with the company. When I initially called I explained the following issues. Lights on dash causing multiple issues, front suspension might be collapsed and the most important issue is starter motor is failing. At the time of the booking I asked if a starter motor can be ordered so we dont need to wait for diagnostics on booking date and have to rebook. I was advised by Jason that he will email the parts department to get it sorted. The booking was only written down and I was advised that once the booking was locked in I would get a call to confirm. I felt that the whole conversion was a push to get me off the phone quickly and was concerned that the parts were not ordered.A few weeks passed and I wasnt contacted so I called to speak with someone. I was advised the advisors are busy and they will call me back. I did that process for 2 or 3 days. I then suggested that I will wait on hold until I can speak to someone. I finally made it through to Matt and he told me he would follow it up.Once again no communication (which seems like the main issue) was made. The person I had been dealing with the most was then unfortunately unable to work for a few weeks which I understand. He did even try call me while working from home but I missed the call.I did manage to speak with someone approximately 2 weeks prior to the booking. I was advised that they need to see the fault to order the part. If I knew that earlier I would of brought the vehicle in, I even had a video of the starter motor faulting. After I raised my concerns the person investigated and said oh yes an email may have been sent to get the part ordered" though he wasn't sure.Finally the booking was today

Have parts but staff is not well trained. Had to 5 times for just for some parts.

Good customer service from both the workshop and spare parts department. Overall very pleasant to deal with.

Very poor. Dropped my Iveco daily for rear brake services they said will be ready for pick up at 4 and they will call me, 4:20 I called them as I haven’t heard from them and they said we haven’t had a chance to touch your truck today because we had a worker short! I told them they should have told me we are short on worker at 9AM when I dropped in the truck, so disappointing.

***Edit in response to AV. ***You told us you had the parts more than 3 weeks ago and we're getting them painted.As per email received from AV, You only just started stripping down the truck yesterday 20/3/23 and have found you need to order more parts. Wouldn't you have stripped it down 9 weeks ago when the truck got dropped off to see everything you need to order? This place is an absolute joke.Absolute worst service we've ever had. Truck has been in there for 9 weeks now and still haven't gotten it back. Every time I ring they come up with a different reason they haven't worked on it. It's only in there for plastic panels to get replaced and an alternator issue. The time this is taking is an absolute joke. Have rung 8 times in the last 2 weeks trying to get truck back but getting absolutely nowhere.

Was warned by precious employee to avoid buying a new truck with AV Trucks as he warned of disorganization, lack of knowledge and expect disappointment and complete lack of communication. Heard changes had been made but if it was ever worse than my experience I wonder how bad it was. Truck was late delivery with no communication, delivered with wrong options, truck cruise control not working so could not use truck anyway. At delivery told ready on a Friday afternoon only to find truck was not even ready for delivery. 4 hrs wasted. After delivery and unfortunately not ready with problems the arrangement for repair took weeks and no communication at all. If I relied on this truck for running a business for income I would be broke. Go to ISUZU and save yourself the hassle. They seem to know their stuff.Road side assist after battery and all electrics died was told too busy to visit so truck was collected by truck and after 4 weeks told to collect-what a joke for a new battery. Have been waiting on a call all week for confirmation booking on Monday to have all new bullbar replacement, tray levelled and cruise control again looked at as after 6 month the wrong one was installed at delivery. Still no confirmation- Ryan the sales rep has followed up with the same level of horror that no one has been in contact. He was even going to raise with new dealer principal but not even a call yet. Problem clearly starts at the top.The new dealer principal introduced as the fixer of problems has obviously impressed the owners with greater profit which is actually pretty easy in a boom and even easier when you remain understaffed and take out all customer service training. I hope Iveco distributorship has a real close look at what's actually going on as it is appalling. Please can you guys call me and get my truck to what is supposed to be and I can get on with actually using it as agreed.Service from AV Trucks can be advised to expect disorganization, lack of knowledge, shocking service back up and offensively lack of communication verging on contempt. Do not rely on AV Trucks to keep you moving if you have a problem. I welcome a call anytime.And still waiting!update:Well having received a call from the Dealer Principal I now understand where the flow of vile culture stems from. The reply I received was disgusting! The refusal to apologize and the use of such derogatory tones made me feel like I was to blame. The arrogant tone and accusations had me appalled by what I was hearing. If this is what they consider acceptable at any level I warn any one considering a truck purchase from AV trucks to avoid at all costs. I hope an email is forthcoming regarding a booking to finish off outstanding works on my truck will avoid the unnecessary tones received over the phone.Absolutely Disgusting customer treatment!
