Easy to access, 2WD accessible, tent friendly. Large open grassy area next the highway, with a few large shady trees. Plenty of space and wonderful free camp bathroom with showers and toilets. Can pay a few gold coins for hot water, but it was hot and humid so we didn't even need to! The traffic from the highway didn't really bother us. The camp site fills up quite fast but we got there late at night in the off peak and still plenty of space for us. Absolutely wonderful free site and amenities! There needs to be more sites like this, tent friendly sites seem to be getting fewer and fewer.

place is good but the abori around here is just like no need to sleep, loud music until 11pm and arguing until 5am.. continue their party again 8am..

Good camping spot but there are often lots of people and it’s located in a risky spot for flooding. One morning we had to evacuate at 7 in the morning because it was starting to flood. They kinda saved our lives but still it’s located pretty deep. They have showers which is always a plus. It’s 2 dollars for I think 4 minutes of shower. On the evenings there are many spiders in the roof of the first shower so DONT GO IN THERE maybe they are dangerous I don’t know.

Greenpatch is a Council run 'short stay' camping grounds. You can stay for 3 days. It is closed during the peak of the wet season for your safety.

This is a seasonal camp ground that caters for many forms of camping from tents to caravans. A siren is installed to evacuate everyone when the Mulgrave River rises to possible flood level.

Closed 0430-0501 2023, don’t know this is temporary close or. But you could use restroom and cold shower(hot shower is starting from 2AUD but not tested)
