All the burgers are made fresh to order ; great fries as well ; although this franchise replicates the USA experience well , the cost compared to the USA ( even on current exchange rates) is very pricey! Good fast food but expensive if you are feeding a family or group!

Buns were colder than the arctic and wetter than last December. You could have called NSW State Emergency Services but they would’ve failed to rescue this burger. This burger is the definition of vanity. Decent sized burger though and fries are reasonable.

I was excited when I heard that Five Guys was finally opening in Sydney (Having lived in the US and as a Five Guys > In & Out believer) but then when I read reviews about its prices I was put off from going.I was in the area and finally tried it today and here are my thoughts.Their Hamburger (with 2 patties) was $17 and cheeseburger was $18. Single pattie (their Little" Hamburger) burgers are $14 and $16 respectively. Their Little fries was $5.90 as was the unlimited refill drink. While it is more expensive than what you pay in the US

The food is mediocre and overpriced, nothing special. The fries are over seasoned and the paper straw makes it hard to drink the thick milkshake. I probably wouldn’t return, but worth a try at least once for the experience.

Burger was cold. The bun dissolves and falls apart. $21 for your standard burger. Waited 45 minutes to get to the door to then be told that their would be no fries as the potatoes are transported from Melbourne and they had an earthquake so there was a delay on shipment. No communication from staff at the entry door during waiting time… I would have left and returned when they had fries in stock. Very disappointing.

I am American but we didn’t have a Five Guys in the city I’m from. So I finally decided to try it today because I know FG is a massive thing back home. And being from America I’ve had all kinds of burgers and I wanted to see if they hype compared to what I’ve had before. The burger that I was served today was probably the best burger I’ve had in my life and I’m probably going back tomorrow to get another one. The freshness of the meat and veg and bun was perfection and it was wrapped in foil - classic American! When I took my first bite and tasted it, I literally shut my eyes and took it all in that’s how great it was.The Cajun fries were excellent as well! The staff and service was well above par! Well done to that staffing manager for hiring great people!

My husband wanted to try Five Guys as he heard people line up for it for hours in America. We tried it for the first time, and we found out that the food is ok. The burgers are a lot bigger than the normal fast food, fresh but a bit greasy. The chips are nice, way better than the normal one, just not a fan of unpeeled chips cause you can taste the skin, and some of it is a bit bitter. The drinks are awesome cause you fill it yourself, and it's unlimited. The negative part is that it's a pricey side. With 2 burgers, 2 chips, and 2 drinks, you pay $70.

Burgers come wrapped in foil.Speedy service, tasted good enough, chips are really short not thick cut, next time I will get both lines of toppings. I didn't want too spicy, so I only went for the black toppings.

We had a really great time at Five Guys. Wasn’t busy at all on a Monday night, only us and 1 other table occupied. We ordered some little burgers, fries and a shake that we shared. The food was really delicious! The burgers were juicy and full of flavour. The chips were very well seasoned and I love the idea of customising your own shake with multiple flavours. The food was out quick and the servers looked happy and genuinely interested in what they were doing. The food was expensive which is the only reason for the 4 stars. About $25 a person for the smallest meal and we shared a drink. Pretty comparable to any of the sit down restaurants in the adjacent Panthers Club.We would definitely come back though as the food is great quality and we had a great experience!
