A little gem of South African cuisine tucked away on the Esplanade overlooking the beach.Lovely spot for our evening meal.The food was delicious and the Boereworst was the best I've eaten.

Great food at great prices with great staff. The waitress was happy to make suggestions on how i could try everything i wanted to try in one dish and the chef was happy to accommodate too. Dogfriendly and open for breakfast, lunch (and dinners from Wednesday nights)

If you haven’t been here yet, get here. The staff is friendly and ready to serve.The culinary delights that await your palette are delectably delicious.I had the samosas for appetizer, six to an order and they were fantastic.For mains I did the hot rock steak (you cook for however long you like) and it is tender, juicy and packed with flavor, I had the peri peri and barbecue sides. They weren’t needed but added a depth that was complex.A serendipitous find indeed!

First time we have tried South African food. We had the mild beef samosas for entree - yummo; then the beef cheeks and chicken bunny curry for main. Absolutely delicious. We also tried the lemon cider, which we really enjoyed. Will definitely be going back and recommending to our friends.

Best food, service is great, coffee is the best.Food is not scary at all, good flavours, not over spiced, wish everyone will go and give the place a try. Its a small business, they need more support of the locals. It's better then Taver'n or pub foods. This place is Not over priced, and good portions.

Superb little cafe/restaurant. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner plus coffees in between.Went for lunch, table of four. Can be busy so we booked. Sat inside but was a bit noisy so moved outside. Umbrellas available for coverage.Staff were extremely friendly and helpful explaining both the south African dishes and wines.Order and pay at counter. We had braised oxtail, 1 with pap and 1 with wedges plus 2 glasses of different wines. Cost $73. Service was prompt and delivered with a smile. Even bought out finger bowls and extra plate so we could nibble on the bones. Our dining partners had the marsala steak sandwich sbd the chicken livers in potjie pot.All in all the food was scrummo. Definitely recommend trying it out. We will be back to try other tasty items.

Nice surprise for the food. Big portion and very tasty the beef cheek and African tart . Grillef mushroom is not too impressive. Not many African restaurants in Oz, this one is a gem. Servers are nice but felt a bit stressed

Amazing food and amazing service, my partner and I have been here a few times and we will keep coming back! EVEN though we have to drive from Brisbane, it's well worth the food. Authentic South African food!
