I recently had Meryll and Gaye do hair and make-up for my wedding in the Southern Highlands. Meryl did the makeup for my wedding last week and by word it was absolutely fantastic. She created the look I wanted and we had so much fun chatting and getting ready together with my bridesmaids. I would highly recommend Making Faces for all of your makeup needs.

So I'm using my husband's account as mine doesn't seem to want to work. No he didn't get his makeup done haha.Merryl did my makeup and Mandy did my hair and I would recommend both of them for any event. As someone who doesn't wear makeup Merryl worked her magic to make me look so natural. I had 2 trials for my hair. Mandy was fantastic and so accommodating, nothing was too difficult. As a Mum of five , I usually never have time to put on make up , yet when I decided to attend the awards night I gave Meryll a Call she booked me in and she was lovely and made me feel Beautiful. Both Merryl and Gaye are beautiful souls and were wonderful to deal with. Their 30+ years of experience gave me great confidence when organising makeup and hair styling for my son's wedding. Gaye arrived at my Kiama apartment on the day at the promised time and armed with everything needed to make me and my bestie, feel and look G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S !!!! She even had Panadol to help with a sinus headache! There were sooo many ideas put to us as we were unsure what would work on the day, but even if you know exactly what you want, the ladies can just make it happen ever sooo seamlessly. I would without any hesitation, use Making Faces Makeup & Hair Studio again and recommend them to anyone I know needing these services around the area. I had my wedding yesterday and the girls did a wonderful job! Our makeup and hair was stunning and held up all day! Couldn't have asked for a better squad to sort us out!

I attended a Master Class with Meryll and walked away with professional tips that I can use on a daily basis. The class was easy to follow, in a small group, where we could ask questions and learn real hands on techniques. It had great structure as well as notes we could take away and refer to. The quality of the Atelier products were on another level! Look forward to attending another class with Meryll in the future.

My daughter and I each had a make up lesson with Meryll. Her studio and equipment were spotlessly clean and Covid precautions were taken. Meryll is so knowledgable and taught us both a lot. The products and style of makeup she used with my 14 year old were totally age appropriate. Meryll has beautiful products available to purchase, but encouraged us to make use of what we already had in our make up bags first. Highly recommended.
