World Famous Fish N Chips
Went in Friday night for takeaway around 6.30pm. Shortly after entering they called last orders and were aiming to close by 7pm. They were severely understaffed, only two people that I could see. It seemed that none of the staff wanted to be there, with the lady in charge rolling her eyes and huffing at every family-sized order. Wait time approx 30min.The food was fine. Service terrible and atmosphere poor. Don't think I'll be back any time soon, unfortunately.

Excellent food and location but the owners could work on improving customer service. The lady who serviced me was not particularly friendly. I'll go back for my fish burger.

The prawn cutlet was battered and not crumbed and rubbery and nothing was really edible. The burger had big Mac sauce on it and beetroot and was disgusting and the chips were underdone. I sent my partner as I do nightshifts and he went here instead of to the great husky bite and I will never allow this again lmao not to mention I used to work next door to these people and they damaged my car for parking in their spot""

Don't get me wrong by the rating, the fish was absolutely delicious. Probably the nicest freshest fish I have had in years. The salt and pepper squid was also quite nice but if you claim to do both fish and chips to a world famous" level

Completely overrated. However the fish is a decent pick, though their chips are disappointing. After waiting 1hr 10 mins to hear my number I had to wait quite a while longer at the counter just to collect my food, upon which I asked for tartare sauce as an extra when my food was handed over and I was asked to wait until they gave other customers their food.....certainly not what a patient customer wants to hear after waiting for so long. Granted the shop was busy however good customer service should still be strived for. Customer service aside, I've certainly had better food at other fish and chip shops.

World Famous Fish N Chips
I was really looking forward to a world famous experience today, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be, it looked as though the staff were exhausted from their shifts with no wind left in there sails, hence the very slow service from delivering the meal, slower than the Huskinson tide. The meal was just on par, nothing special, but filled a hole. Hopefully some of the staff can take a holiday to inspire themselves again.

LIVE UP TO THEIR NAME! Fantastic fresh and tasty menu. Fish was caught that morning filleted and served to us at lunch the staff were friendly and helpful. Brought our food out and had a friendly chat. Amazing place. HIGHLY RECOMENDED ON THE SOUTH COAST

I can certainly see why they say world famous, this place is top notch.Holidaying in the area, checked this place out on recommendation. We were part of a large group, went during lunch rush. Wait was about 15-20 which was reasonable given it's all fresh and the quantity we ordered. The food is priced well, portions big enough, staff were great, lunch specials various items and chips for about $8, cannot go wrong. I got the Salt and Pepper Squid, it was divine. The troop had Calamari called it the best ever"
