Alexandra Brooks Psychological Services - South Australia, Adelaide, Glenelg | Alexandra Brooks Psychological Services. My name is Alex Brooks and I work as a Clinical Psychologist. I have been fortunate to have had a significant breadth of experiences in my career. I help people with all sorts of issues including stress at work, anxiety, depression, anger, parenting challenges and trauma related issues. I primarily work from a Schema Therapy framework. Schema therapy was initially developed for those clients for whom Cognitive Behavioural Treatment (CBT) was ineffective and draws from various approaches to treatment including attachment theory, CBT, experiential, interpersonal and psychoanalytic therapies.
