I had an old tattered, torn and tarnished map of the Hawkesbury River and surrounds from 1953 which was recovered from the hull of a boat, something most would discard as rubbish, I nearly did.I took the map to Framers Warehouse and discussed having it framed with Andy, who was most helpful and knowledgeable. The first step in the process was to have the map sent for cleaning and restoration, and was returned looking fantastic. We then selected a suitable mount and frame with non-reflective glass.I was nervous at first about tipping in a lot of cash into this, but I am pleased I spent the money as I think the transformation and end result is outstanding.I now have a piece of art which has been conserved to museum quality offering an interesting look back at our regions history for years to come.Many thanks to Andy for the impressive work by him and his team.

Andy was extremely helpful in explaining all the different material choices and coatings. I had a woven piece of fabric framed (1.5m In length) and Andy helped me chose the right materials so the finished product not only looked great and worked well with the supplied artwork but was able to hang strongly and securely.
