Food here is atrocious. Considering most of the people that eat here, do so for more than half of their total meals is disgusting. They preach healthy living, but they practice cheap living. Tonight's offerings consisted of boiled potato, pasta, boiled cauliflower, roast beef - that would be better described as jerky, and 2 other meat dishes that were so full of oil and sugar they were basically desserts. Lunch was MYO croissants. Picture of said croissants.

Like a lot of the comments say, great digs, shame about the nosh! Room wise the best I have stayed in, food wise I'm led to believe it is better than prison food.

Vienna Food Theme tonight. Was good. Selection and quality of the veg was great. All the meat was very average. Pork & chicken schnitzel were dry and like cardboard. Sausages were rubber and the fore qauter chops must have come from an old boot. Chocolate sponge cake was yummy for desert. Needed me chocolate sauce, was little dry.START SERVING CREAM WITH DESSERT. Not everyone likes custard. Also do a rice pudding one in a while. Something different. It's so easy to make.

It's a Rio tinto operated by Sodexo,Buffet style and steaks cooked to order.Set up for FIFO mine workers servicing cape Lambert Mine site.You can dine in as a non guest for a fee.But really only worth coming on a rare seafood night otherwise I would not suggest as food is quality is not the greatest.

Rooms are awesome and the cleaners do a great job. Reason for the low rating is the food. Haven't been to a worse camp for food. Crib food is awful too.

The food is really bad at dinner and especially the crib food. There’s not much choice at all especially for people who may not eat meat or don’t like the 1 hot food meal they offer. Probably the worst I have been to. The cleaners are great and the people who work here are lovely.

Only the best mining accommodation village I have ever been to, comfortable beds, super quiet rooms, plenty of laundries. Good food. Crib selection is a bit limited.

Some of the accomodation is at least a 500m walk, 800m in some cases, they say there is a shuttle bus but I've yet to see it. There is a woolworths nearby, although crimes were committed while I was there.
