There is a process to get this to work. You need to go to the shed, turn off the lights and turn on the spot lights, to charge up the glowThe spotlights go off after 30 secs and then it's total darkness and the glowing picture can be seen.

Not my favourite but loved the town. Letter box next to silo art unreal. Would like to see it at night but time did not allow.

The silo art is amazing. As an older ex-silo worker I think it's a great reuse.Also, if you're visiting the Avoca silo, checkout the metal art across the road. I now have a frog, dog, butterfly and some ants in my collection.

Love the artwork on the silo, but please make sure you visit it at night as well as it’s the only silo in the world where you get to light up the artwork at night by pressing the 2 buttons on the shed in front of the silo

Visited during the day and found out there's a light show after dark so came back again. There is a projection on the other side at night along with music. It turns off about 9.30. Well worth a visit. The Avoca Motel is walking distance away.

Beautiful artwork by Warrnambool artist. Also has an interactive night display, though I did not see this.
