Laverton Medical Centre

Took our 4 month old daughter in today to have her weight measured as she has been having some issues with putting on weight. Firstly we waited for close to 45 minutes, and when we finally got seen there was no apology for running late. Then he proceeds to tell us that they do not have scales for babies... When we made the booking we told them exactly what the appointment is for, so clearly the reception staff are not adequately trained in what services this medical centre actually offers. Here comes the best part... The doctor then proceeds to weigh our 4 month old by holding her and standing on scales himself, whilst she is fully clothed and has a nappy on. What a joke of a doctor and an overall bizarre experience.

The receptionists at this centre are incompetent.- Cant send info to the correct emails or give out their own email correctly.- Cant book appointments without mixing up who the correct patient to be called is.- Don’t pass on emails to Doctors when asked.Some of the Doctors are consistently 45 minutes or more late with appointments and reception never advises patients of the expected delay.- Confidentiality of medical issues is not valued.- Even after being a patient for some years, doctor cant remember important basics of the patient.- Cant treat anything themselves, cant read xrays or test results; can only increase drugs or refer you to specialists you cant afford.Really not happy today!!!

The receptionist was very unpleasant, asking me who’s my regular doctor meaning not at this practice. I transfer my medical note there over two years ago. I hope I don’t coming across that receptionist again ! To a surprise to me there’s one lovely receptionist, you’ve to be lucky to pick the right day.

Tried to make a appointment after my 1st vaccination gave me chest pains(stayed in hospital overnight) that haven't gone away after a week. The reception told me that they aren't accepting anyone not double vaxxed and then hung up. I am shocked and disgusted while sitting here with chest pain and high heart beat.

Won't take new patients, crazy considering they had appointments available and in walking distance.

I don't know why the clinic has received such a volume of 1 star reviews - such a great practice run with on-time appointments and quality doctors, and a nurse for blood tests too
