Easily some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Service was incredible, the staff was lovely and even though we only got potato cakes and chips, the order was prepared promptly. Will definitely be back when we are in the area

Very disappointed, asked for and paid for Flake. What I got was not Flake but some inferior fish. I phoned George and he blamed it on a scarcity of Gummy Shark. Firstly I buy Gummy Flake quite often and have not heard that one before. Second George charged full price and did not disclose that he was selling an inferior fish. It tasted horrible and smelled very fishy . I don’t know how he thought he was going to get away with it. The chips were stale as well. Won’t go there again.

Been here a few times on my way past and it's always a great experience. Staff are friendly and service is quick even in busy times. It's really good value food as well - the seafood is fresh and not oily at all. Chips and other food is also always very delicious and not greasy or oily. Servings are very generous - highly recommended!

Have eaten here a few times and I have to say it’s the freshest and tastiest seafood in melbourneI came past today in 42degree heat and ordered the grilled flake, as always beautifully fresh and tasty !Keep it up

Flake was just ok - more batter than fish. Potato cakes were floury and inedible and chips while crunchy had a stale and old taste

Great service, fresh fish, perfectly cooked chips.I'm not sure where or how they get their scallops, but easily the greatest scallops I've ever had.Georges is the best fish & chips in the neighbourhood.5 stars, hands down.
