My MacBook Pro gave me the Three Beeps of Death and wouldn’t turn on, but in minutes, someone at The Mac Doctors had it up and running again - free of charge. Couldn’t be happier. Amazing service!

Extremely professional, upfront and honest service. I took in my overheating macbookpro and the dude opened it and cleaned out the dust for me straight away with no charge. Also gave great advice on other tech issues. Comp now works great.

If I could leave a zero star review I would! Appalling customer service from Cameron. I was told both speakers would need to be replaced as one was distorted. After waiting three days for my laptop to be repaired I got home to find it with a completely flat battery. It had a full battery when I left it there for the repairs of my speakers. . I called up the store immediately to enquire whether they had even tested the laptop after the repair to which the staff member just laughed at me. I charged the laptop enough to at least turn it on. The first thing I done after I could turn it on was test the speakers.... they were still distorted at the volume level the technician" had "tested" it at. I called the store up again to question again whether they had tested the laptop let alone whether they had even replaced the speakers to which Cameron just laughed at me once again. This time he went on a spiel about he is a "great technician" and he has been there for 6 years. They were quite happy to charge me $189.00

David at Mac Doctors was fantastic! David was very thorough when checking the issues I was experiencing. The repairs were organised in under a week. Great service and my laptop is good as new again :) Very happy!

Told me to bring in my computer to have a board replaced which would take 1-2 hrs. I drive 3 hrs to be told they were too busy to do anything with it!.. I reminded them that I had a 6 hr round trip drive to get the computer fixed and they basically shrugged..Prices quoted for the work appeared to be random numbers thought up on the spot.. Including a price for an new hard drive that was more than double the highest price in Townsville. Again.. a shrug in response..These guys are no better than Talk to the mac in cairns.. Off-hand.. arrogant and unprofessional.. Not to mention a total rip-off!I did however talk to the guys at The school Locker who do mac repairs but were full booked (not surprised) They were awesome and I'd go there anyway...

So this is going to be my honest review of this place. You enter in and you are greeted by three awkward chairs and poorly advertised product on the shelf. Aesthetically not the best. The customer service is great. They understood that I had knowledge about what I was talking about and didn't make me feel like I was unaware of what was happening. I was promised a three day arrival of a part and then a two day turn around. I dropped it off on the Monday and was guaranteed a phone call by the Friday. Come Monday next week I received a call that not only was it late but the batter has expanded within the laptop and will take another four days. I patiently waited and didn't cause a scene. When picking up my laptop four days later. I inspected the new parts put in and they seemed to par. I was excited that I may have found a reliable mac service provide. Oh how I was wrong. I now have an AUX port that does not work which is really annoying due the fact that I am coming in to test and assignment week and can no longer afford to be without my laptop.I plan to take the laptop back and I will follow this review up with the results.

very impressed with the Max Doctors with there sorting out my Ipad issues.

Dropped an iPad off for a repair/insurance quote was completed in 30mins. Great service would use again.

Super friendly staff. Cleaned my AirPods case (it wasn’t charging prior) for zero charge. Highly recommend for friendliness and service.

Took macbook in for very simple and common issue with upgrade to Big Sur on a perfect running machine. They killed it. Called me to pick up a dead machine without an explanation, apology, advice or solution. Asked them to please try and fix it, 4wks later and no contact I went into store to be met by the same rude and arrogant demeanour of staff, Tyson even laughed at the situation. Dave the manager made it very clear that fixing my machine was not a priority. He was busy. Just add the word 'Death' in front of Doctors. To the owner, pay your staff better and they may care about their job more as Tyson complained several times that he was on minimum wage.UPDATE: It took 2mths to get my device back. They sent it away to be repaired at their own cost, up and running albeit missing applications ie Office. I don't believe this would have occurred without the unfavourable Google review but credit where credit is due. Thank you Dave.
