Motorserve Wollongong Car Servicing

This is the WORST service center I have been to. To start I asked them to let me know if anything needed replacing before doing it. I advised them my job doesn't always allow me to be able to answer my phone so they tried once early in the morning and then I had to call back after work only to be told my front brake pads needed replacing (now another 600 onto of the service price) that left me without a car for yet another day. As I went to pick it up the next day I was told that the rear brake pads had 15-18 months left on them which I was ok with.Flash forward 3-4 months and there are more issues:- grinding noise coming from what sounds like the exhaust every morning for at least the first 5-10 mins of my drive- rear brake pads have worn down despite being told 15-18 months- put my car in for a pink slip with a different mechanic who advised me they neglected to check a part in the steering wheel which made it loose. Now I'm not a car person so I thought it was just general aging but turns out it's a non passable point for pink slip, so had to have that changed.The attitude of the administration and service advisors is deplorable. The only saving grace is the manager who promised a call back and followed through.I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you are prepared to be kept in the dark treated like trash and have your car have more problems after being serviced then this is the place for you.

Excellent service. Took my Holden Astra in at 8:00am on a Friday morning and they gave me a lift to work and also picked me up from work in the afternoon. Car was road worthy when I got there and I was able to purchase rego the same day.

I had my car booked in this morning at the Wollongong Motorserve, I had received a confirmation email with date and time, when I arrived I was told by two very rude misogynistic men I was not booked in, they tried to bully me then told me a mechanic had called in sick.This behaviour is completely unacceptable after this service I will never book my car into a motorserve again, I am a regular NRMA six monthly customer.

I waited while my car was being serviced. The reception/waiting area has been nicely updated. Free coffee while you wait. Staff were very friendly and explained any additional work that had to be done on my car and the additional cost, asking for my approval before commencing the work. Well done. Great work.

I recently booked in my car at NRMA Motor Servicing in Wollongong for a Re-Gas of the air conditioning. We had an appointment booked from 8am to 12pm and we arrived early - they let us drop off the car earlier which I like and also finished earlier than 12pm and they called and left a message advising. Not only was the work completed on the car amazing but so was the customer service that was provided. I would definitely use their services again and recommend to anyone I know.

Competitive, transparent and I even got a coffee and a lift home while they were busy with my car. Took longer than promised and I had to take it back again as they missed something..but all in all they made up for it in both service and price. Troy at the front desk deserves a mention for his professionalism and top notch customer service!

NRMA used service provider for my daughters car that had to be towed to their premises. Communication up to and including the day of visit was great. Service & assistance from the team on the day of visit was fantastic. From an NRMA member for the service they provided you could not fault it on the day.

Do not let them touch the engine to change stuff. My engine was wasted in two weeks I after had a logbook service including a Rocker cover gasket replacement, they are good with marketing, think twice before you say yes". Be careful
