Murray's Air Repair

It’s a shame there is not a zero star option for this organisition. Murray’s Air Repair took more than two years to put a Piper Arrow on the Austrailian register. The aircraft was promised on Feb 14, 2018(12 months late) and we got it back March 2019 (2 Years late). Then when he FINALLY handed it back (with a $27k bill), both radios were not working, and the next annual was due in two months. When we challenged him over the radios, he suggested it was our fault and then towed our aircraft out in the weather with no keys or logbooks. He is abusive, aggressive and threatening. I won’t say liar, but I will say that very rarely (if ever),do his promises came to fruition. Seriously, if you cost the amount of time it takes to manage this guy, you could easily double whatever ridiculous invoice he presents you. If you have your aircraft with him, good luck, if not, there are some really good alternatives on the airport you might like to consider. You could save youself an enormous amount of grief.

They use to service a Helicopter I flew. Always done on time, never any issues with anything. Communication was always spot on. The whole family is lovely............To the people leaving the one star reviews. Google should check their authenticity, as these are all fake.

Terrible service, abused me when I asked for an itemised account of the work done. Job took much longer and I got ripped off with the price, pure extortion, Poor quality workmanship I strongly suspect he has no formal training to work on anything that flies. Very sorry the day I ever took my aircraft to him. Had to have his work rectified by another reputable company. Stay away you have been warned, save yourself the stress.

At last truth in advertising,this website is everything it purports to be plus some,no one is immune from the deception including a then 85 yr old ex WW 11 RAF Spitfire pilot who was not even notified when his Piper Arrow was significantly damaged whilst in the care of this business,prop removed and discarded and a bill in excess of $ 60,000 for nothing ,say no more.....Ps the only fake identity is Ducati Cessna". Work carried out on my Cessna 182 was dangerously sub standard including throttle cable working loose as no split pin used

He had an argument with an aircraft owner and removed the propellor so the owner could not fly it away. Police got involved and the prop mysteriously was found beside his hangar. Terrible people.

Stopped on our wonderful Australian safari trip and we needed only help with flat tyre. Man asked for $500 in cash to look at the problem so we went to the other good mechanics on the airfield. Cost us a case of beer - thank you the Eagle boys.

I have seen aircraft that has been worked on here, aircraft I’ve seen have very dangerous mistakes made on them, flight controls left loose, oil lines and fuel lines left loose, gaskets on engines installed over half scraped off gaskets causing massive oil leaks, many dangerous and scary mistakes made on critical components and systems. A lot of which are very common sense and easily avoidable.I know I wouldn’t fly in an aircraft that was worked on here.

Murray's Air Repair have been looking after my aeroplanes for more than 11 years with no gripes about workmanship, advice or competencey. No disputes about bills or anything.The 12 , one star reviews here , appear to be the work of an internet troll using fake identities and photos of others that they have stolen from people's profiles on the Internet.Trolls are true cowards and I would enjoy the opportunity to provide this defaming individual with a face to face character assessment.Give Murrays AirRepair a fair go, don't be manipulated by a gutless , rubbish talking troll.

There are plenty of horror stories regarding this operation floating around Cessnock and Bankstown Airports. This revolt was going to happen sooner or later. You can't continue to abuse everyone without some reprisal.
