My brother and I would like to put on record our great appreciation for the compassionate and professional care that was provided to our father, Ray Cowan, by all staff at the Ross Robertson Aged Care home at Victor Harbor. Dad had hoped to remain at his home until the end, with his beloved dog Rusty, but the ravages of the disease on his body (but not his mind) meant that in the end he needed care beyond the capacity of his home care and palliative nursing teams. Dad was incredibly lucky Kathryn, the manager of Ross Robertson, was able to find him a room at short notice and the level of care provided by the nursing staff and carers was truly amazing.
