A superb hour or so visiting and chatting to Tim and patting Neville. A very generous tasting of some fabulous wines especially the Old Vine Shiraz. Just a very positive experience with no hard sell. We'll be back very soon. Good boy Neville!

This winery is a bit of a hidden gem. Amanda & Tim are so down to earth & always up for a chat. The wine just tops it all off.

There are many wineries and estates in the area, it can be difficult to know where to go outside of the big names. I can recommend Geddes without hesitation. The wines are well made with clear attention to detail and obvious focus. The staff (I spoke with Jade) at the cellar door are knowledgeable, intelligent and friendly; with clear understanding of the wines their past and the future cellaring prospects. The cellar door is warm, friendly and inviting - definitely worth visiting for great value 90+ point wines. On a personal note I would highly recommend the Petit verdot and the Fe3+ Shiraz

Our little cottage overlooked Geddes so on our final day we decided to stop in as a final goodbye. Three days in the McLaren Vale I would proudly say we sampled some of the best drops in the country but Geddes ended up being our personal favourite from the trip. Jade was a fabulous friendly host who clearly shares the passion for what has been created. Each wine we tried punched well above its weight and our only regret was only being able to fit a 6 pack in the car. Do yourselves a favour, Geddes should not be missed!

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at Geddes. Their wines are fantastic and their customer service is even better. We were giving a tour around the cellar and a very descriptive tour of all the wines they had at their vineyard. One of the best experiences we’ve had at Mclaren Vale.

Wow! Had a great afternoon enjoying Geddes wines. Tim is a terrific host, so generous and knowledgeable. It was fantastic to chat to the winemaker himself and meet Neville the wine-dog. Highly recommend for delicious wines that reflect the region. Do yourself a favour and drop in, well worth the visit.

This winery captures the true spirit of wine and wine tasting. Every wine we tasted was superb. The tasting was unpretentious and focused on excellence in winemaking, friendly and down to earth. The winery is not obscured by a restaurant or gift shop, it is centered around the wine, the earth, and the people that make the experience of wine tasting in this area so special. Amanda (Mrs. G) is extremely knowledgeable and delightful to talk with. The tasting covered the range of this winery’s brilliant repertoire, and we only wish we could bring more with us on our travels home. Definitely worth discovering the memorable wines of Geddes Winery.
