Halls Haven Holiday Units

Absolutely lovely accom! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Lots of activities, from lots of wildlife to animal feeding, a night fire to roast Marshmallows (buy in halls gap if you didn't bring any), a tennis court, basketball, pool, ping pong, pool table, bikes & family bikes, communal TV room with DVDs, books and some games.The units are lovely and bright. We were in a family unit and able to fit a portacot in the kids room (we didn't use those beds). Kitchen equipment more than sufficient.Our queen was comfy too!Owners and staff were lovely and welcoming.We stayed 5 nights and explored the surrounding towns (Ararat, Halls Gap, Stawell, Great Western). A great base to come back to each afternoon.Will be back, maybe in a different season to enjoy the outdoors & facilities even more!

This was the second time we have stayed here, we had a stand alone cabin the accommodation was amazing, very clean comfortable , full size kitchen great lounge room with amazing views of the animals and mountains. Plenty to do on the property for everyone, animal feeding, tennis and plenty of room to roam. Staff are wonderful and very accomodating. We will be back!

There is nothing to complain about here.The owners and staff were wonderful.The accommodation was perfect and clean.The facilities for young and old are perfect.The wild life abundant including Panda, the calf.We stayed there for the Australia Day week end and did not want to leave.We will be back bring family and friends with us.Thank you for making the weekend perfect,

Just got back from our second stay at Halls Haven. We love it. I instantly felt relaxed we when we got there. The views are amazing, the cabin is clean and comfortable and the kids can run around by themselves and make friends. We got to use the pool this time it was cool but refreshing. We will be coming back for sure.

Could not ask for more from a holiday! Chris and Jeff are wonderful hosts. We had the fortune of being able to feed a 6 week old calf every morning at 8.30, this and the other animals were a highlight for the kids. The ability to play tennis on site, and ride the bicycles on the property (one for all ages) was a great way to entertain the kids! For those hot days we loved the pool ! (Although I think we broke a pool inflatable ☹ having too much fun!!!! There are around 10 units , and we found other like minded families who made the stay even more enjoyable! A great way to start the new year!!! – I could keep going on!! BBQ Facilities were great --- Whilst hubby cooked , son was catching a yabby in the dam. Games Room for the kids! So much thought has gone into Halls Haven

From start to finish our stay was beyond anything we had imagined. From the level of accommodation and cleanliness of it, to the resort facilities and the incredible owners and staff, everything about our stay was wonderful. There is SO much for the kids to do but is still such a relaxing environment to unwind and enjoy so much needed family time. Our 4yr old LOVED every second of our stay, and talked about it all the way home and even the next day! Thank you everyone who took such great care of us, your hospitality was second to none. We will definitely be back very soon and are planning an annual trip with friends and family because we loved it so much! Highly recommend!

Halls Haven is a relaxing holiday park placed well off the road for minimal traffic noise, in a lovely setting out of the township of Halls Gap with views to the Grampians Ranges across kangaroo strewn paddocks. The units are clean and modern with good food preparation and storage facilities. The park is well equipped with a camp kitchen and an entertainment building for those rainy days. There are plenty of places to sit around the large central pond to enjoy the view, including a deck out onto the water. The staff are friendly and helpful. there is an array of farm animals to delight children - make sure you make friends with the resident peacock. Our group of 11 thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for a weekend so we could visit the zoo.We had an absolute blast! The emus came right up to our front door.We got to feed the farm animals, take the 4 wheel bike for a spin and the room was baby friendly for my 1 year old.We absolutely loved our stay and will be returning!Owners were lovely and rooms were cosy, I rang Friday arvo to ask about booking for that night and arriving late, owners were super accomodating and nothing was a hassle

I stayed 3 nights with my husband and 2 children (age 7 and 2) over the 2023 Kings Birthday weekend and was so happy with everything! We stayed in a family cabin that had all of the amenities you need. A second bedroom for the kids, spacious lounge and dining, excellent water pressure and perfect heating. The kids absolutely loved the surrounds- so much to do from feeding the animals each morning, patting a cow, chooks, playing ping pong, pool or watching a movie in the games room, checking the yabbie nets, talking to the kangas, emu’s and peacocks, sitting by the fire, playing tennis, basketball, playing in the playground or even swimming! As a parent I was so relieved and happy knowing my son could chuck on his gumboots and have some independence, making friends in the safe grounds out the front of our cabin. The way the accommodation is set up in a half circle around the main grounds is brilliant for supervision where the parents can relax at the same time. My kids LOVED the pedal buggy’s and the bikes on offer for free use. My daughter’s only complaint was that she couldn’t take Princess the Alpaca home but we will definitely return to visit her and her friends!Chris, you were so accommodating and I felt so relaxed in your presence. It is a magical haven! Outside of the Haven we took road trips to visit Mackenzie Falls and various lookouts, went to the Sunday market at the Primary School which was huge and had dinner one night at the local bistro just down the road.

A great getaway, nestled close to, but not in the town of Halls Gap. The units are completely self sufficient.There is a lovely area to explore, games room, DVDs, table tennis, pool table, bikes, plenty of animals to entertain you, a pool and so much more.This is a must stay for anyone from couples to families. The WiFi is also great, phone service is lacking but you don't need it!
