Top of the Lake Holiday Units

Wasn't exactly what we were expecting given the information on the Web page.We were in unit 2 and shared both our units walls with other units. Unit 1 was super noisy at all hrs of the day and night and had a barking dog....Always highway traffic noise at any hour of the night, had to sleep with ear plugs in. Bed needs to be upgraded. Ridiculously uncomfortable.Units have no air con just fans.Reasonable accommodation if you have a pet.Just missing the little things that make for a comfortable stay. No face washers offered at all, no tissues and the bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan. Which made things alot more sticky than they had to be.Kitchen facilities basic. Knives offered were blunt with no way to sharpen them, no chopping board and the little convection oven can only do 1 thing at a time. Can't use oven and stove top cookers at same time.

I come down to top of the lake every week for work and the hosts Sharon and Jason are very accommodating and helpful. It's pet friendly but quite private and quiet so a great place to stay for a holiday!

Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Top of The Lake Holiday Units. It was the best for our furbaby as he had great fun. Didn't have to be leashed up always, grouse grass ears for him to run. The owners Sharon and Justin were so friendly and helpful in everything. Would recommend this place for a stay with pets. Lovely clean roomy units, can't fault it. Will be going back in the future. Thanks so much Sharon and Justin for making our stay so memorable

I have been going to Top of the Lake Holiday Units for the past 12 years and I find it is one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. When I want to go fishing I just have to stroll 200 metres down to the Lake and untie my boat and I am on the water in no time.It is also a great place for dogs to run around and socialize with the other guests as well.The manager Jennifer does a fantastic job and is very friendly and hard working.

The hotel unit is on top of a hill right on the highway, and easily accessible. The car parking is on the rear of the unit and entrance is from the toilet. Although the main entrance is on the other side and overlooks a lawn which is common to the other hotel units this side is not accessible by car. The unit was neat and clean, had 2 bedrooms and a common toilet and bathroom. No washing machine and dishwasher. Microwave oven and fridge is available. Overall a good place to spend a night. By the way kangaroos roam freely in this area.

Sharon was a great host. Communication and check-in was easy. She also helped with information about local things to see and do.About the accommodationThe units are a good option for someone travelling with their pets given the handful of pet friendly accommodation choices available. A simple self-contained unit with all the basic amenities. We enjoyed brekkie and drinks on the deck with a garden and lake view. Milo our dog absolutely loved running around the garden.The unit could have been a bit more clean. The bedroom needed a good vaccuming.LocationMerimbula, Pambula and other city centres are located a maximum of 20 mins away. As recommended by Sharon we tried the Longstocking Brewery in Oaklands and would recommend a visit to try their tipples.VerdictOverall Sharon's Airbnb is a good place to stay if you are travelling to the coast with easy access to beaches, cafes and national Park.

Gold Gold Gold, at first contact the host spent 20 minutes with me only to find out our intersrests for us to enjoy our time because the place being so relaxing probably only got through a quarter of the suggestions leaves me feeling I will definitely be back and believing if 20 minutes wasn't enough for me to understand what was available in area they would be there to make sure very clean unit with support to make sure you enjoy you stay no words can explain these people run a more than exceptional ship close to everything but closer to heaven if you were to ask me

Absolutely love staying here and love that its pet friendly. Sharon and Jason were so welcoming they felt like family by the time i left, i didn't want to leave!The units had everything i needed, beds were comfy, big space out back for the dogs to run around and only a short drive to local shops. Hope to be back soon!
