Not terribly happy, Jan. Car booked in today to get a key programmed to replace the one lost in the fires AND also to get some error messages cleared - they booked a one hour slot, and while they did the key then told me I had to bring it back to get the rest done and some 'updates' - because they'd take longer. Why, when I had asked for both to be done wasn't enough time allowed to do both? I live over 40km from Bega and it's a right pain the the backside!

Couldnt have been more dissapointed and robbed if i tried.Took my car here to get its first major service according to my log book. I booked 1 month in advance as i dont live in bega and wanted to support small town business after the bushfires.Dropped my car off at 830 in the morning and was called at 10am to come and collect the car.When i dropped the car off, i explained particular issues and also requested a battery check. I asked for them to call me once they diagonised the issues so we could discuss finances. This did not occour as they DID NOT complete any work but a standard service and i can not even be confident that a standard service was even conducted. The cost of this apparent major service was $990, just shy of $1000 which i was happy to pay - FOR THE MAJOR SERVICE. When checking over the invoice after i left, i requested some gentlement to look over it for me. These men then identified a bunch of items that were 'checked'... for a diesel car - which i do not own.i could keep going on with things that went wrong but then i may aswell write a book and take them to fair trading to get my money back.I will NEVER return to this dealership and i suggest you do not go there. Strongly NOT recommended.

My new cars a bit over warranty and the paint is bubbling they asked Ford to cover it but wasn't honoured

I am located in Newcastle (about 8 hours away) and bought a second hand vehicle from Tarra Motors. The whole experience was very professional. Peter the salesman was no fuss from the start - the negotiations were simple and he did a video chat to show me the condition of the car which was as per the ad description. He organised a vehicle inspection and service log records to be sent through to me, then the rego transfer and to have the car driven to the airport for exchange. There was a minor issue with an oxygen sensor in the vehicle that came up at the last minute, however Tarra resolved this in a timely manner and at no cost to me. I would highly recommend Peter and the team at Tarra Motors.
