Laucke Flour Mills

I just made a loaf of spelt bread and it's yummy. I had been buying frozen spelt bread for over $11 a loaf here in Perth, WA. I was pleased to see that the mix came from Laukie's Strathalbyn as I remember it from childhood several decades ago. I lived on a farm near Langhorne Creek. Will try some of your other products. Thank you!

The only mill in Australia which lines up their flours with the French type system. Its true, I checked. Good on you Laucke.

This is the SECOND bag of infected flour from Laucke, The first one I threw away however at $16 per bag it's simply not acceptable. Use by date is December 2020, bought 3 days ago and opened yesterday. Bought from ColesPrevious bag was about 4 months ago, same problemFor nearly 20 years we have been using Defiance flours and mixes and have never, ever had a problem. Alas Defiance is no longer available, only the talcum powdered weevil filled stuff

You are able to buy Lauke products factory direct and in bulk from the mill. Great service and they will happily carry heavy bags to your car.

We buy their flour and their flour creates crusty, delicious and rather fluffybread.Tastes flavorsome and wholesome.And even though it is more expensive than the average flour mixes, it is worth purchasing these flour mixes for sure.So far had no problems with the delivery service, costs or flour quality.Highly Recommendable!

I recently purchased 2 x four 1kg boxes of Laucke Multigrain Gluten Free Bread Mix. I have used this for years and find it delicious, however Coles stopped carrying it and I was forced to look into other alternatives. None, however, was anywhere near as good.I found the Laucke web site and ordered. All good, no freight the invoice read.I received my order and worked out the cost, which was very high per loaf.I rang Laucke and queried the price per loaf. I was cheerily told that the price included freight and packaging. I replied that the invoice had no freight on it. The staff member said that their invoicing setup just included it in the full price, not itemised.I believe that, although the product quality is not in question, the price is false advertising: it should itemise the freight.I am disappointed that I only received 8 1kg packs for over $106.00, bringing the price to $6.60 per loaf. I have now found out that IGA carries the Laucke Gluten Free for $7.50 a 1kg pack, making the price per loaf only $3.75. MUCH better.........Barbara from Gympie Qld

It’s such a pity that I am unable to purchase Laucke flour products overseas. When you try to purchase bread-making flour in Taiwan it’s a whole new world; locally made flour using imported wheat from god knows where; Japanese flour (well known wheat product - not). Ask for whole meal flour and they look at you blankly. I am going to have to buy what I need online; but unfortunately it’s not going to be Laucke!

For years I avoided buying the Crusty White Bread Mix thinking it was a gimmick, for years I struggled making a decent loaf. Now that I have found this product I will continue to buy it, not only do I make a super crusty loaf, brioche is a winner, also my Turkish is brilliant, I am yet to try a sour dough, so far any style and type I make turn out perfectly every time.. thank you Lauke Flour.. I will add, that I don’t get the same results with the Wallaby…

Sure the trucks are loud, but my ambition to one day work here is louder! I put in my resume and now to wait! Can't contain my excitement on working here in a week or so, I mean cmon who else are they going to employ? I'm the jackpot, baby!
