Who needs to pay money for a water ride, when you got a Perfect one, right here!! Just Amazing for family's n children, young as 3yrs old. At 1st it looks scary, but once you get in, you realise how shallow it actually is.

Brilliant place for cycling or walking with your canine friends on leash of course. Also wheelchair friendly as the walk is completely paved. A great walk to view good Aussie favourites of the plant world like Wattle and Banksia. Also there are birds galore, so there was plenty of music supplied by all kinds of bush birds including a surprise appearance by small quail. It was nice to end up at Lake Currimundi and a children's play area. Really enjoyable.

This always appears as a suggestion for places visited" but I'm here so often it's less a visit and more a stroll through my backyard - as it turns out it's the most direct route from my house to my sister's house

It's a beautiful national park, a peaceful walk and well preserved ecosystem. Lots of beautiful wild flowers to see in springs flush, from late August to early September.

Lovely bushwalking trail that leads directly to the beach. My walk was lovely and quiet - saw a few bush turkeys and lizards. There weren't many people once you go from the paved to the dirt track.

Lovely family area off the main beaches. Seems great for paddle boarding and lots of wildlife around too.

A buffer between suburbia and the sea. Some well guided walking tracks open to the sea. It is reminder of what could have been preserved but for overdevelopment and greed. It needs more attention to get rid of the weeds particularly the aspasra grass amongst many others. The lake which thankfully was being flushed out by the tide is delightful and provides a safe children's beach on the southern side. The bonus there are two coffee shops well hiddden from the generally crowded Caloundra overdeveloped coastline.

Great morning of bird photography despite the heat. Looking forward to coming back when next we visit the area.

Went for a walk as it was near our Airbnb. Love how quiet it is during the walk and finally understand why it's a lake instead of a river when reaching the end of the walk.

Nice to visit for the wildflowers mid-August through Spring. Other times, not so much to see.
