Ballycroft Vineyard and Cellars
We really enjoyed our experience at Ballycroft today. Joe (the owner) is awesome! He is passionate and very knowledgeable about his craft and produces some amazing wines. The tasting, tour and run down of how he produces the wine was very interesting and also quite personal as it is a very small winery. If you are visiting the Barossa, do yourself a favour and check this place out.

Ballycroft Vineyard and Cellars
Probably the best winery visit I've ever had (out of 20 or so). You get to sit down with Joe the owner and winemaker, who talks you through the entire process of making the wine. We saw the grapes being fermented, the machines used to remove the stems, and tasted some of the nicest and most interesting wines you'll ever come across. I bombarded Joe with questions and he could answer every single one in the most precise detail, he really really knows his stuff. Bought some today and hope to buy more in the future. Thank you!

This winery is a must visit. Unlike the larger wineries, Joe takes the whole tasting experience to the next level with his knowledge and obvious passion for his craft. Needless to say, his wines are fabulous. He was also so great with our little toddler, offering him crackers and keeping him engaged.

We came to Ballycroft having tasted their wine through a friend. We were delighted to be greeted by Joseph and be entertained by him as well as being educated on the growing process through to the drinking. This was a relaxed and casual tasting, like having a drink with a friend and having a chat. Great wine, great guy and pleased we dropped by.

Exceptional boutique experience. Joseph and his family at Ballycroft make a tiny production of exceptional wine from their off-the-radar vineyard in Greenock. This is a niche location and best suited to someone who is passionate about wine. If you're looking for something more than just another tasting room, this is the place for you. We enjoyed a comprehensive masterclass on sustainable viticulture and the integration of renewable technologies in winemaking. This man knows the Barossa like the back of his hand, the dirt, the vines and the people. I cannot recommend the experience enough. Finally, the wine was fantastic and of great value.

I'd give this place 6 stars. I randomly rocked up and although its meant to be by booking only I got a personal tasting session from Joe and had a great chat. Then he gave me recommendations on where to follow up with my tour or barossa.

Ballycroft Vineyard and Cellars
Ive been to most of the wineries in the Barossa for the last few years and I can easily say, Joseph was the best at educating us and doing it in an entertaining way.The wine was equally amazing and the love that goes into the making of it is viable and it comes through in the flavours. We're going back there in January to top up on the wine and we literally just got back to Melbourne!Highly recommended and overall an amazing experience.Cannot speak highly enough.

This winery has a cellar door like no other! We were greeted by Joseph the owner who was very generous with his time and gave us a very educational tasting and tour. The wine is beautiful and it was a pleasure to visit.
