An environmental display centre outlining the natural values of Mission Beach and some threats to the natural environment. Information on local plants and animals ( including cassowaries), walking and riding tracks, revegetation projects. Many species of native plants for sale.

An interesting community organisation run centre sharing information on the endangered and interesting cassowary. The centre provides local information about the bird and try to raise awareness, and money for cassowary conservation. Entry is free but donations are accepted. A wide variety of gifts including books, t shirts and toys are available. They also operate a plant nursery selling native species from $3.
