Summary: good service with dealer-like pricingMay not be as cheap (as what you would expect from a non-dealer)Based on experience (had 3-5 jobs done in this place), this place has good customer service and you will be able to talk directly to the owner/mechanic.They will explain to you what they have done to justify the hours (like a dealer would), they communicate well too.However, I found that the labour charges are quite high and I sometimes feel I should have just went to a dealer. No small items are cheap or complimentary.I also think they maybe more suited to mechanical works and may not really be an expert on complicated electronics of a merc, specially on newer ones. I believe the owner/operators of the business have been associated to dealership practice (long time ago) and thus have been charging similar to dealer prices / dealer practices.But generally, its ok shop with good mechanical knowledge, just be prepared to pay dealer like per hour rates. Shop surroundings are dated, place appears to be not too busy with ample parking.

Excellent and professional service by Adam and George, very knowledgeable and always friendly. One of the better Mercedes service centres but quality doesn’t come cheap.

Diamond Star have been servicing my 1985 380SE for over six years now. Estimates are clear and considered and any extra work is always discussed before commencing. I trust George and Adam to work out what's needed to keep my 34 year old Mercedes Benz on the road and in great condition. Highly recommended Benz workshop.

Booked an appointment - despite this and travelling an hour they had all left for the day (3pm on Saturday) without informing me. Guy picked up phone and said I should call back in 2 mins. Rang about 10 times over half an hour he never picked up. Also hard to locate as map position is actually a row of houses. Complete time wasters don't bother with these guys. Scammers, untrustworthy

I wish to acknowledge the outstanding service to my Mercedes Benz. Appalling Service Charged an arm and a leg and the car came out worse. Wanted me to do a rebuild on the transmission when not required! These people are definitely not specialist of Mercedes and would recommend a dealer instead of them!

I have never met a mechanic with so much love for what he does. Before starting a major engine overhaul, my 1992 180E was assessed in detail as to whether the job was worth the expense and the pro's and con's of the job discussed in detail. Some undiscovered rust was found which I had no idea about - I decided to proceed. I was quoted an accurate price and possible additional expenses were discussed. The job was conducted to such a high degree of precision and in such a professional manner that I was a little amazed. I've used mechanics before that tell you that they know what they are doing and that they know your car - usual result is a slight feeling of disappointment. This was certainly not the case with Adam. He worked on my car for weeks and kept me constantly updated on progress and asked me to come into his shop on several occasions so that he could explain certain aspects in person - he even invited my Brother and Mum into his workshop to show us his work. I commented to my family that it's as if Adam is working on his own car such was his knowledge and enthusiasm. No old Mercedes is cheap to repair - it's not a Ford or Holden and not many mechanics can truly say that they know your car. Adam was brilliant and I couldn't be happier with the result. Already booked in for some suspension work in a month. I've found my go-to mechanic finally. Adam, thank you for your hard work, precision and fantastic customer service.
