Alchemy Woodfired Pizza
I was passing through and decided to stop in for dinner. We ordered 2 small pizzas and one large pizza.The vegetable toppings were fresh and very generous. And the chrorizo sausage tasted authentic deli style.I was a little surprised and concerned to see the colour of the pepperoni. It was brown and looked old. From my pizza experiences, pepperoni usually is reddish with some oven burn throughout the corners.Another issue with our pizzas was how they were cut. The 2 small pizzas were cut in the most unusual way. Rather than having 4 normal slices, they cut the pizza into 8 tiny messy slices.

We were really excited to come for a meal, had driven past a few times and was recommended by a friend.Very dissatisfied with the food, service and cleanliness of the place. We would have had a better meal from frozen section of the supermarket.Lift your game guys… No excuse for being local and serving expensive terrible food.

Alchemy Woodfired Pizza
Along the Great Western Highway, you'll pass by this roadside pizzeria that boasts a stunning view of the mountains as you snack on a slice. To our dismay, it was raining that day and so we were seated inside a cold, bare setting. The inside of the restaurant is very bleak compared to the outside where you can warm your hand on the fireplaces and gaze at the night sky. The service was just as minimal as the decor, customers were required to order, get cutlery and serve water themselves. After ordering, our Greek salad came quickly only to be missing a quintessential ingredient: olives. It took a few attempts to get the attention of the staff as they were no assigned waiters, we had to patiently wait for the chance for one of them to swing by the dining area and ask for the olives. Most of them were busy in the kitchen with no one to take care of us throughout the dinner. The Greek salad kept us in good spirits with its fresh vegetables enrichrd with a precise measure of dressing. Despite having three cooks in the open kitchen, it took a whopping 45 minutes for the pizza to arrive. Although I understand the kitchen was backed up with takeaway orders, there was no sense of urgency to their movements, leaving diners stranded in a cold room. Our long-awaited large Hartley pizza and small Siena pizza possessed a generous amount of toppings and cheese with a perfectly cooked, crunchy base. The creaminess of the pumpkin balanced with a sour kick from the artichokes has really opened my eyes to the splendour of vegetarian pizzas and I can thank the Siena for that. The Hartley is a solid carnivore pizza with a classic pepper and smoky taste. I can see why locals flock to this place for some rustic pizza but next time, opt for takeaway rather than waste away in their barren, uninviting restaurant. Pizza as a comfort food tastes better when you feel comfortable.

The pizza there is fresh, crispy, tasty and overall very nice. The restaurant is very pretty and has a nice atmosphere, the staff are also usually very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here and trying the place for yourself.

Nice selection of pizzas. But barely any toppings and the base is paper thin and burnt in some areas, pizzas felt empty. Definitely not worth the price.

Alchemy Woodfired Pizza
Great pizza place along the Great Western Highway. The standout is the amazing view that you enjoy sitting outside. The pizzas themselves are really nice with the standout being the wood fired base. A slight let down are the toppings - we had the chicken tandoori which was nice but probably a bit too heavy on the onion and relish but don't let that stop you from trying it or stopping by at Alchemy. I'd definitely recommend the place as a pit stop.

The pizzas were delicious and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff and fast service. This is as authentic as wood fire pizza gets. The location is stunning too.

Alchemy Woodfired Pizza
Great outdoor spot for a pretty decent pizza pit-stop. Fresh ingredients with a homemade taste. The fire burner pizza was great, just be wary if you're bad with spice !They also had a small fire pit going outside which was nice in the cold, plus a great view of the country side, mountains and fenced in animals. Plenty of safe field room for kids to run around (superviser) and play as well. Semi-interesting sort-of ruins nearby too.
