Cape Raoul Lookout
Very nice walk. Long but easy. Walk ways were very well maintained. Breath of fresh air, magnificent view. Absolutely nothing to fault.

Get ready for an adventure meandering through the bush, up and down the paths, over logs until the Cape appears before you. Yes it was hard (for me) but such an impressive view at the end.

Fairly easy to get to and a nice shaded walk through a large gym tree forest. I saw wallabies in and out and a snake (don’t worry they are much more scared of us and take off far before you walk near them).Only about a 30 min walk with rewarding views up the coast. I recommend going further up the coast to cape raoul but it is another 3 hours return. You will need a parks pass fyi

1.5hr return Hike was worth it. Especially sunset seems very beautiful and mesmerising. Easy track, adventurous, little bit of gravel route and easy parking space.

Good track, easy to moderate 16km return walk. Stunning views and 2 good lookout points.

Amazing walks with spectacular views.Anyone with minimal hiking experience can do the two lookouts (Cape Raoul & Ship Sterns Bluff) takes about 2 hours return and minimal steps, plus a few seats along the way to rest if needed. Very much worth the views! Lots of parking and toilets at the car park.Cape Raoul full walk takes about 6 hours return and is more for the experienced hiker, definitely a grade 4 trail but mostly flat and easy going.Ship sterns bluff full walk is also a good grade 4 hike trail, about 4-5 hours return (depending on how you go uphill) Would recommend doing the longer ones over two different days.

Our favourite hike on this trip! It was about 17km, took around 3.5hrs walking time with side tracks and maybe just over 4hours with stops. Beautifully picturesque and while there were a few uphills and downhills it wasn't as demanding on the knees as other hikes with lots of stairs.Would definitely recommend this hike, try to get out early to avoid the heat! We saw lots of wallabies, beautiful birds, lizards and a couple of snakes so keep your eyes open

Started off seeing a 1.5m tiger snake 5 minutes into the full walk so was a little sceptical. But turned out to be one of the best walks I've ever done. Pretty easy just long, most is flat or downhill with only one longer part of uphill on the way back. If you're scared of wind+cliff-face don't worry the walks pretty sheltered until the last 20 minutes. The walk goes through multiple diffrent types of forestry as well as having many species of wildlife. Saw hundreds of lizards from skinks to mountain dragons. A tiger snake and a whipet. Lots of echidna markings as well as owl pellets and a few pademelons. Absolutely gorgeous walk however recommended doing it early morning as it gets quite popular through out the day.

Well maintained and clearly marked trail. Great views of Cape Raoul along the trail. Walking to the very end took around two hours with frequent stops and walk back wasn't bad at all. Saw some Tasmanian pademelons along the way too!. The second lookout is probably the best. The final one at the cape doesn't have as good as a view. Seal point is worth the 5 min side track
