I dropped by the Telstra store to go through my $250 Telstra bill as the app was freezing when processing payment. I initially went to the store to get told to come back in 45 minutes due to staff shortages. I made an appointment and I gave them my phone number and plan details. I received a call 30-40 minutes later to tell me to come in store. Sat down with a team member to talk about my plan when they asked me for ID to confirm my identity. I didn’t have ID but continued to show them digital copies of ID which they refused to accept. To put the cherry on top they would allow me to pay my bill in store but wouldn’t let me discuss options to receive a better deal. I insisted he ask me security questions like they do on the phone but to no result. Pretty disappointing as I know I can get the same package for 2/3 the price elsewhere but as a loyal customer I wanted to see if Telstra could meet my budgetary concerns. Fair to say they have lost a customer. I will be paying off my hardware and will be moving to another provider.Unless a Miracle sparks, this provider has lost all respect and loyalty from meShocking

Went into this shop to activate phone, was informed, that you now need to book an appointment. I said, since when? She informed me that they have always did this. I've lived here for 5 years, went to this Telstra Shop on numerous occasions, never had to book an appointment before. Was then informed that the next appointment would be onMonday the 9/01/2, today is Thursday the 5th of January. This is Casurina Northern Territory, not Sydney or Melbourne. Hire more staff Telstra, you've made countless Billions from ordinary Aussies.

Terrible service. Tried to buy a new phone, knew exactly what I wanted, refused to sell it to me without an appointment and incredibly patronising in the process.Go to JB Hi-Fi instead, they had me set up with a new phone and Telstra SIM card in 10 minutes.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Put on a list and told 1.5 hr wait. Went back after 1.5 hrs and told 2 people in front of us, come back in 20 mins. Went back and told 3 people in front of us and not sure how long???? They haven’t got a clue. Saw lots of other disgruntled customers. We were going to get new plans and new phones. Lost our business. Oh and still no call back...

Unbelievably rude and unhelpful. I told them I had something stuck in my charger port, they kept trying to plug a charger in until they pushed whatever was blocking the port up into the phone and broke it completely. Thanks for turning a simple fix into a huge stuff around! Absolutely useless

Came in to speak about phone loosing reception and no internet . Was told you need to book appointments . I asked for their phone number reply was we don't give them out . You can go online . Asked forManager , the assistant hummm , I said you must have a manager . Reply o I think she is out the back , I asked could I speak with her . Answer humm she maybe on the phone . Customer service at its best .While I was standing there two people came in one said he wanted to buy a phone . WS told to take a seat.

I needed to get my sim card replaced as it doesn't get signal. This is a 5 minute job max. I was told I would have to wait 1 hour to get this done. After 90 minutes I returned to the store and they told me I was still in que. After 4 hours they called me to say they were ready for me. By this stage I was long gone. I live remote and that was my once a month visit to town when I could get it fixed. Now I can't get phone signal until next time I can make it up to Darwin.
