Rush Escape Game - Escape Room Hawthorn

Had an awesome time escaping the Hacksaw room! Atmosphere was great and immersive the whole way through, and puzzles were the perfect amount of challenge (had to squeeze out a few hints by the end). Massive thank you to Charlie for being an incredible host who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time possible, including sparing us a bit of extra time to allow us to escape! Will definitely come back to try the other rooms :)

We had a great time at Rush in the Hacksaw room! The puzzles and clues were logical and challenging but not impossible to solve. Big shout out to our game master Maddy! I’ve done a lot of escape rooms and sometimes when you ask for a clue, the staff just kind of blatantly tell you what next to do, but Maddy cleverly delivered it in a cryptic way that helped us along but still allowed us to feel a sense of achievement in solving it.The 4 stars is only really because I think we expected something a little more ‘jump scary’ and while it was ‘horror’ themed with all the gore, it didn’t have us jumping and screaming. That could also be that we chose the wrong room and had nothing to do with Rush.Would recommend!

Did the Strangest Things room yesterday and it was fantastic! The decor was really cool and the puzzles were quite challenging but so much fun. Maddy was an awesome games master and was always so helpful when we needed more clues and was a great hype girl before we went in. Can't wait to try some more!

I had such a wonderful experience doing my first ever escape room at Rush Escape Room Hawthorn. Game Master Maddy was fabulous, super friendly and made my experience that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Rush Escape Room Hawthorn to all my friends and family and I will certainly be back again! ☺️

Maddy is such an awesome Game Master! She accommodated us very well on a random Wednesday night and made the whole experience very exciting. Thanks for the help with the clues when we got stuck, and for making our friend’s Melbourne visit worthwhile.

If you’re looking for a fun and interactive date night spot - I highly recommend coming along to this escape room experience!This venue has it all! We participated in the Brooklyn 99 room and had such a blast we ended up completing the Hacksaw room immediately afterwards.Maddy, who took us through the incredible experience was such a pleasure to meet. She made the whole evening fun and so enjoyable!The rooms themselves were so detail-oriented and payed amazing tribute to their respective themes. An overall amazing escape room experience!

Best. Escape room. Ever! Okay so this was our first escape room, but it was so much fun! Our host Sarah was great at giving us clues throughout and her enthusiasm from start to end was great. We will definitely be going back to try the other rooms.

i had four 12 year olds try out the Strangest Thing Room - they had a great time with a little help from our game master. They were very engaged for the whole hour. Nice and close to Glenferrie road shops.

My partner and I had the most amazing experience doing the Brooklyn 99 escape room (in Hawthorn)! We were so excited and the lady behind the desk (sorry we didn’t catch a name!) was so lovely and welcoming! Our game master Maddi was also incredible and both of them just topped off the whole experience! Will definitely be back!
