Lakes Nature Trail
One of most kept secrets and we are so lucky to get lost here. It is so DRY that salt is burned white hot and almost “melt” under the sun. Yet plants can survive here. Totally surreal and absolute nature’s wonder

Great short walk, full of salt lakes. The first one was. Ompletely dry un Jan, but the second had a bit of water and looked like a uncannily white beach or a snowy landscape. Otherworldly, highly recommended.

Lakes Nature Trail
We stopped in here because it's got public toilets which were good. Then we drove the loop road to get back onto the highway. The views of the Coorong were spectacular. Worth the side detour!

Lakes Nature Trail
Wonderful quite spot with a loop walk between two lakes. Plenty of car parking and toilet facilities available. Plenty of signage to provide information about the area, and picnic tables and camping facilities.
