Follow me for more good reviewsAbsolute cracka of a place, a foodie’s dream, excellent service, my favourite was the eggplant, belly bao and the beef randang, price is affordable too, highly recommended. I went back there few month after and it was again a delight, same quality, even looked a bit more generous this time, thanks god i don’t live close by, i would be there second day gorging on this delicious food!!

We randomly discovered this place and the food was really good. Great ambience and polite staff added to the good experience.Only to take care if you donot eat spicy food as the laksa we ordered was superb in taste but it was so spicy that i was unable to eat. But the lady from the restaurant was so helpful and added some chicken soup to make the spice levels milder. So, it would be better to tell them upfront when you order so that you can relish the awesome flavours.

Actually 3.5. I love the decor of the restaurant. It's also nice and cosy and you can have a conversation without having to strain your voicebox. The larb gai was good (8/10). It was a very refreshing idea to serve it with lettuce leaves, like a twist on the 'sang choy bao'. The murtabak was good as well, especially with the sauce/gravy. We ordered the chicken curry and thought we'd have more of the sauce. But we were let down.We ordered the curry chicken as a test to see how authentic the place is. But the curry chicken tasted more like a chicken stew. It showed 2 chillis on the menu but it was not chilli at all. In fact, the spiciest thing we've ordered was the larb gai, which showed 1 chilli on the menu. The eggplant was good. (Although, for me, as my mother's daughter, I had to squeeze out the excess oil out of it before I ate it. This is more about my OCD than the quality of the food, though. But I'm just mentioning it in case there are people similar to my mother and me.)The dessert - cucur kodok and pisang goreng - were good, though. But the best bet would be the pisang goreng. My friend stated that the cucur kodok was a little undercooked. But I didn't mind the mushiness of it.Overall, it was a good experience and mostly good food. Curry chicken, though (as a staple Southeast Asian dish) was a let down. But it's understandable for the demographics in which the restaurant is based.

Little Hutong, known in Chinese for a narrow lane or alleyway in a Chinese city. These little lanes are where many a good meal can be found, and whilst you don't find a laneway here, you will find good food. Little Hutong is a suburban gem which has been feeding the people of Little Bay for a number of years. The restaurant occupies a large modern space with an industrial feel. There is a splash of colour provided by the portrait oil painting of girl eating noodles, featuring one the owners daughters.
The menu channels South and East Asian flavours and cooking techniques, with many menu items from different originating countries including Malaysia and its cuisine hub Penang, or exotic flavours of Bali in Indonesia or simply refined Japanese recepies and many more. Little Hutong sources fresh local ingredients to bring you their best version of each dish.
We start off snacking on the Japanese inspired Panko crumbled chicken, delicious little chicken pieces to dip into the silky Japanese mayo.We pick off some Nalaysian Nyona Top hats, otherwise known as Tai Pee. These bite sized fried wonton cups are filled with flavour provided by a mix of ingredients; carrots, prawn, crab meat and egg omelette, topped with coriander chilli and roe.
Something to warm us on a cold winter nigh was a classic Chinese inspired fresh made wonton soup with bok Choi. This was accompanied by a salt and pepper Squid served in a lettuce cup topped with sauteed onion and chilli, the squid having a soft texture and a good amount of spice.
The menu is filled with comfort food such as a soulful claypot cooked chicken with Chinese sausage. The claypot and its cooking method intensifies the flavours of the dish. The Little Hutong version of Mee siam of work fried vermicelli noodles with with prawns, bean sprouts and rolled egg omelette and a side kick of Spicy sambal to be added to taste, if you can handle the heat.
We finished the meal with the sweet and super crispy Banana fritters, served with a chocolate crumb and vanilla ice cream. So good we couldn't stop, we kept going back for more. Little Hutong always provides excitement through their variety of quality menu items, from many different Asian countries.

We were delighted to find Little Hutong, which is a gem of a restaurant located in Little Bay. With an intriguing south-east Asian menu, it is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a drink with comforting food that not only looks refined, but tastes good as well

Delicious cocktails, great decor and nice ambience. I would probably rate certain dishes a 3.5-4/5 - however some that we had were excellent. We ordered some oysters, wagyu donburi (portion of steak to rice is what dropped the rating for us), hainan chicken rice and the nutella lava balls for dessert. Oysters, chicken rice and dessert was great. Exceptional customer service by Andrew! See you again!

I bought a voucher from Groupon I booked via open table and told them it was a Groupon deal on the booking. I got a text to say the deal was no longer available and to go back to Groupon and get a refund! Didn’t expire until 4/11/22. I expressed my dissatisfaction and disappointment as I was looking forward to the meal and was taking a friend .. their customer service sucked they blamed Groupon said it was Groupons fault at no point did they offer to honour the Groupon deal and pay the restaurant direct! Low blow. I will not be rec this restaurant again
