Fraser Coast Holiday Park

Situated in a great spot, walking distance to the beach and pet friendly.Eddie our dog loved her stay in a large cabin with a choice of beds for her to sleep on.A cute front deck on the cabin was beautifully to catch a cool breeze and enjoy a cup of coffee.We booked our room on line to discover when we got there that we did it for the following month. The lady still took us in at 10:30 at night as she had one room left not used.Our dog was still allowed to use the room even tho this room was not usually used as a pet friendly room with a small fee of $20 extra for cleaning. We were just greatful that we were not turned away.Thank you from us.

Good location, good value, short walk to the beach and plenty of dining options. Staff where friendly and helpful. Spacious cabin well appointed with smart tv, full size fridge, a/c and fans, basic cooking facilities which we didn’t use anyway, because we where on holidays and there are so many good places to eat nearby. Nice pool and spa. Even though beside busy Torquay Rd, was not at all noisy. Very satisfied overall and would happily stay again but we did have a few small niggles such as dripping shower, sliding bathroom door didn’t want to always quite stay shut, fan control knobs missing. Nothing not easily fixed and certainly wouldn’t stop me coming back.

Hired a superior cabin for a few nights.A tight spot to park next to when tents and vans set up opposite.This cabin needed a serious spring clean. Under the bed was especially gross. I used my own wipes to clean the skirting boards and floor around the toilet and the toilet bin lid was filthy. A dead cockroach and bandaid was in the bin. Yuck!The shower pressure was awesome!The tv remote was hit n miss. We could not adjust the volume up or down at all. Obviously not the best - Kmart universal remote. Had to change the Batteries in the air con remote also.The wine glasses were absolutely filthy. Coffee was spilt in the cutlery tray. Nothing seemed to be checked properly before we arrived.Cockroaches kept coming out, no wonder there was fly spray under the kitchen bench.The floors can't have been mopped in a while. I used my wipes under my feet and they were black with so much dirt.The bed was clean and comfortable.Handy location and front of staff were very pleasant.However when calling ahead regarding my booking, whoever answered the phone was drunk and not professional (New Year's Day). When calling the number again (as locked out of the front gate) the man was rather rude telling me I had an email with instructions, which I did not. I explained that my email was not passed on via Agoda but he ignored me and repeated himself. The code on the keys were worn off and unreadable.Not sure I'd stay again

Nice park but sites quite small and difficult to get on with lager van 21.5 and ram tow vehicle. Don't know where we would have parked Ute if park was full. I have to rate service as lousey as no one available at reception all done on line. Strange. Once you meet staff in park nice and friendly.

Worst park i have stayed at, booked through gday parks expecting quality. We had mould on the curtains, dirty sheets and mould on the roof. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds i have ever slept on with springs digging into me all night. Contacted park via email as we left early with no response. Wouldn't recommend.

Great location, just 2 blocks from the Esplanade. Nice and secure and quiet. Bit of a tight squeeze to back the van in. Very friendly reception and grounds staff.

Air con and shower didn't work properly. Very run down park. An old man sits out the front smoking and tells you where you can or can't park and for how long he thinks is acceptable

I could not honestly fault these amazing guys, anything we have mentioned they have been at my doorstep ready to fix this issue. They have gone beyond what I would have ever expected and been friendly, polite and accommodating to all of our needs. Props to this park, we have stayed at almost them all and none of them have been as caring and friendly as this park. Keep up the fantastic work, it doesn't go unappreciated at all

Used to be the Lazy Acres Caravan Park. We have been here 4 weeks and have stayed many times previous. Managers Pauline n Lindsay are great people as is their casual staff. Very friendly permies too. Cabins are slowly being refurbished and up graded. Daughter stayed recently and thought the cleaning could be upgraded but other than that she was happy. Grounds and sites are being upgraded and repaired as well. Recommend the Tasman Parks Fraser Coast anytime

Sites are very tight and hard to get into even with a smaller van. Only a small caravan park. Had no contact with staff or managers on site so I cannot comment on that aspect. Other people staying there were nice and friendly. Amenities were dated but clean. Could do with some lighting at night around the park as hard to see going to the bathroom. Close to the esplanade and shops/ restaurants either way.
