We had pizzas which were OK. Relaxed atmosphere. It was quite hot in restaurant, upstairs which made experience uncomfortable.

Nice pub menu with plenty of diversity for dietary requirements. Service is always good however, depending on the time of day and amount of patrons, food is always slow. Definitely great quality food, big services, so well worth the money.Family friendly with a spacious games room.

Just a great, family owned pub with a really cruisy vibe. Food is well priced and mildly adventurous pub cuisine. Very friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

Not sure what happened in the kitchen today folks? As usual we ordered one steak rare, one medium rare, both over cooked. Never happened before, I’ve always said best steaks on coast at Palmwoods tavern. However there were lots of people in today, so didn’t like to make a fuss, steak still enjoyable but not as nice as usual. We will be back and hopefully steaks will be back to perfectNB. The Palmwoods hotel has generously given us a voucher to recompense for the disappointing meal we had. This is much appreciated by two pensioners, very kind of them.

Very Very disappointing .Ordered salmon received a bowl of salad ,salmon was in there somewhere this was take 4 at the pub with disappointment . Approached manager and got abusedThere was 4 of us .We are never going backTaking business else where.DONT need to be abused and called a liar with photo evidence of bowl of salad for $35 .Service is a lot to be desired even tho we were the only ones in entire bistro restaurant for lunch on Saturday , service was poor did not know where desert were , very disappointing experience.Certainly all of us not going again and would not recommend it to any one .You try and support local only to get abused for complaining …. Your loss not ours going else where.. 4 x is to many times .Sorry

1st time there. Blue eye fillet done perfectly, unfortunately med/rare eye fillet ended up being a rump. Young gentleman very apologetic and gave us a whiskey and Coke for compensation, staff excellent and beautiful pub will be back despite the mix up thanku

Stopped for lunch and did enjoy ourselves. The food was yummy & the staff were friendly even though they were understaffed & run off their feet.

Not enough parking if it were fully packed but enough for us the day we went. Food was good. Reasonably priced and a good amount. Kids meals were a little expensive for my liking, kids get free ice cream but no drink like most places. The kids area was good. They had a climbing frame and slide to suit my younger ones and PlayStation. Unfortunately there was only 2 out of 4 working. I highly recommend taking some gold coins with you as they have claw games (everyone is a winner) which my kids loved!! The hotel was clean, spacious and the staff were wonderful.
