Apollo Blinds, Awnings & Shutters Newcastle

I was actually not going to post anything but I have since decided that I will, firstly I just want to say my final decision on backing out of my order did cost me $100 out of pocket, but I believe that to be nothing compared to what I could of possibly felt with.My advice if you get a feeling that something is not good.. go with it.I did not read all the reviews before I handed over my deposit.I have to be honest and say that the Sales representative that came out to my property was lovely, couldn’t fault her, she was kind, on time, communicated well, but unfortunately that’s where everything ended.Once placing the order and handing over 50% deposit a visit from an installer was automatically supposed to be organised, I had to chase that up twice, when the installer finally arrived at my property to do the measure and finalise everything he was so rude! very in personable and made me out to be a thorn in the side, like I was inconveniencing him?I’m not prepared to go into complete details of the experience that I encountered with this individual, but I have to tell you it was probably one of the worst experiences in terms of customer service in my own home that I have ever dealt with.I called the organisation after the visit was over to confirm and requested that person not attend my property to complete the job. I dealt with a member from the local office that was quite short with me over the phone and was quiet taken back about the whole experience, I since decided that after that encounter that would cancel the order and go elsewhere, granted that the order was cancelled I was penalised by them deducting $100 from the order but after dealing with this organisation and reading the reviews, I’m glad I did.research there’s plenty of competitive businesses out there offering the same product with the best customer service I’m actually happy to pay more to know that I’ve been looked after then pay a price and deal with disgusting behaviour.I’m surprised that his business has lasted, do yourself a favour and shop around before you hand over your hand earned cash.

Sharon from Apollo blinds is fantastic she handles calls and emails and is so prompt and helpful every single time you contact Apollo !newcastle , I wish everyone was as helpful as Sharon ..Apollo blinds are great we had our farmhouse done with blinds from Apollo 2 years ago , and now now we are getting our investment property done with Apollo blinds ..

Apollo was great to deal with for my outdoor blinds. I received numerous quotes and they were the cheapest, while still offering a high quality product and excellent service. Full site clean up after installation and great communication along the way.

We've used Apollo under multiple times now. From phone consultation to measure and install they are so friendly and easy to deal with! Great prices too! Cannot fault this company! Products are amazing and such a range of blinds and shutters!

Will never use Apollo again. Had 2 outdoor blinds made at a cost of nearly $3000. After approx 9 weeks and both blinds having to go back to the manufacturer due to poor workmanship (the large blind once and the smaller one twice) they are now installed. Customer service was non existent and their no care attitude very disappointing as I was a previous customer.

Unprofessional from the get go.Just glad I never went through with paying a 50% deposit and locking myself in.The staff who measured were asked simple questions.Couldn’t answer them and were very rude in the process. That pretty much rang alarm bells.If the service prefit and pre pay is bad I don’t want to even think what’s it’s like with after sales service.

Make your decision wisely as once the 50% deposit is handed over u better prey there is no issues.I am no different from everyone else and so wish I saw the reviews before making my decision as my experience is no different.I moved into a brand new house and the damages caused from poorly trained installers was horrendous.My story needs a book and it would be fantastic if a fiction with liars, fights, stand off, arguments, denial, threats and the worst of all that we try and not teach our children they are BULLIES!A brand new house that has permanent damage and now over 6 mths later I don’t have all my blinds and left to slowly pick the pieces up.I now have found a great new company to finish of the job and financially behind but had to save my mental state and so sad that the first brand new house I have ever owned was damaged.Please proceed with caution

I had two properties Apollo Blinds provided both shutters and blinds. That was in 2018. Not that long ago. One shutter has dropped on one side. I asked Apollo if they could send someone out to fix this very small problem. Yes of course" they replied.......it will cost you some $140.00 (approx) call out.Now maybe its out of warranty. But really! Service is missing with this company and I will not do business with them again. In fact I have another job which they quoted on. I have now given it to Lakeview Blinds."
