Central West Animal Rescue

Whilst we have had our minor problems, I think it's important for people to remember that these people are under a huge deal of stress. I don't think I'd be up to it as a volunteer, so they really deserve a round of applause. Despite any complications we may have had, this is all being resolved thanks to the efforts of jas. Congrats guys, I know it's hard to keep your head above water and you're doing a good job despite all of the obstacles you've had.

I called them about a dog. They said they'd assist I waited and waited...nobody came..I called them and no answer. No stars really.

Edit - I hear Central West animal rescue are closing their doors....thank the Lord this terrible organisation will no longer be allowed to cause harm or distress to animals or their owners.....See Ya!!!Original review - Awful and most distressing experience I have encountered. First of all my initial application got forgotton or lost and needed constantly chasing up and information resent. The information I got told for the most part was misleading and consistently changed which ended up in a very distressing situation for me and my family and it really didn't have to be so distressing. I did all I could in the short notice I got (mostly via texts) in assisting and changing appointments bearing in mind the dog had been legally surrendered to the rescue and while being at work. However, there was no response to urgent messages before midday resulting in further delays and distress. Accused of dumping" my dog with them

They don't answer their phones or return calls. These organizations need some serious attention and direction. Having a heart is great. Use your head occasionally though. If you offer a service or run a business. Regardless of it being charitable. Do it properly

It is a good thing to take care of animals, do it properly and follow it through. When an animal has been adopted, then papers should be ready to go with it , the new owner needs to know what has been done and what needs to be done. The microchip ownership needs to be changed soon. I am to busy is no excuse , get help to do things efficiently. You are just causing upsets with your negligence and excuses.
