Best chop in town, even better banter. They do a great job with kids hair too, but be forewarned: your kiddos will learn a whole bunch of new words.

I made the move after my long time Barber moved to the UK. Seriously Dirty Chops is the best thing to happen in Pialligo - ever. Jye, you are a craftsman, my own mum says I no longer look homeless and it’s so much more than a cut or trim. The shop is a hive of banter and the atmosphere is great. With Dave away it was awesome to see Jye put his mentor hat on leading the younguns whilst doing his own work to the high standard that keeps me coming back. Big things coming out of a small space, see you soon you loose units!

I’ve had my hair/beard chopped by both Dave and Jye and can say that Dirty Chops is hands down the best barber in Canberra if not the country! Took my son in for a chop with Max as well and he walked out with the best cut of his life (and he is still raving about it)! They are professional, have great chat and most importantly know what they’re on about! Thanks legends, top stuff!!

I had to cancel several hours before my appointment as I was bedridden with food poisoning and these guys are still trying to charge me the full amount. Appalling customer service. Won’t be rebooking here.The snarky reply below is indicative of their attitude. Their idea of ‘two way respect’ is charging a bloke full price for being physically incapable of attending an appointment and cancelling as soon as possible.They say they’ll charge a cancellation fee, but fail to inform you that a cancellation fee is in fact just the full amount.It is clear that the reason this is Dirty Chops has only one bad review is the way they have attempted to shame me on their social media aswell. You can assume from this that any other bad reviews have been removed from Google after the targeted harassment. I have received from their staff. If receiving a bad review causes this sort of reaction this is a business that doesn’t want to improve.

Such a great bunch of barbers and an awesome organisation. A shop that is dedicated to the things that really matter to our industry. Good cuts, Great chats and supporting the people that support us. There should be more Barbershops like this in Canberra!

We recently took our 2-year-old in for a haircut and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were amazing with my little one, making sure he felt comfortable and entertained during his haircut. Not an easy feat with a wiggly toddler! But they managed to give him an amazing haircut regardless. I highly recommend these guys for anyone with young children, they really know how to make the experience a positive one. Thank you so much for the great service!

First time at Dirty Chops and very impressed. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and i received the best haircut I’ve had in a very long time. Bella was incredibly knowledgeable and provided advice as to suitability of cut and how to best style it. Very excited to have found such a great barber, will absolutely be my regular!

Best barbershop in town - I’ve been to many other barbershops in Canberra and none of them match the welcoming and good vibe, good banter and top notch cuts you get at Dirty Chops. Jelena is a legend barber, my bro and I have been going to her for our cuts for a long time. Big respect to Dave and team as well for the men’s mental health initiatives. Highly recommend Dirty Chops!

Dave and the crew have been cutting my hair for ages now, but have had mixed luck with my very cut-averse twins. Recently Max has joined the crew, and they did an amazing job cutting one of the boys hair this week, to the extent we all got thru it completely without tears.Easy 5 stars, and we’ll be looking for Max to cut the boys hair more often!
