On holidays in Ballina, my partner is Vietnamese and wanted Asian food, just by luck we chose Hong's Kitchen. Nothing fancy, a little traditional but, very, very clean. The staff very polite and helpful, the owners do the cooking and are Vietnamese. Reasonable price and good tasting food. Would definitely go back, if Ballina again. Colin

Good menu selection.The curry and special we ordered were bland. ;-(The special was also a bit pricey at $21 for the quality, but did notice the rolls were cheaply priced.Fresh veggies were good.Staff was friendly.

Not horrible but not great. Quite bland. I ordered honey pepper prawns & couldn’t taste either. Slicing prawns down the middle to make it look like you’re getting more doesn’t really work either.

I come here all the time! Today I ordered a fried rice and I asked to eat in. They made it in a take away and then when I said I’m eating here, they said sorry you need to go and it somewhere else… I will not be returning. Also expensive small dish - $19!!!

Fantastic food. Fresh and delicious. Staff are polite and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Great lunch spot to catch up with friends. Very family friendly, especially with older people.
