Some decent products on offer especially in confectionery which is their best category. The rest struggle. Especially baby ranges, pasta and men's products. Shelves are constantly empty for days sometimes. Not a great checkout experience and forcing customers to self serve at a slower check out experience whilst a staff member watches you

Great staff, very helpful, clean store. They try to have plenty of stock that is on special instore. They will give you a raincheck if stock of the specials is unavailable if in catalogue that week. The store refurbishment is finished.

No one working at the only 2 checkouts. Asked the guy at the self serve section if he could get someone to serve me as I had to get some cigarettes for my wife. I was told that I would have to wait until someone came over. I explained that this was not good enough that I had an appointment I had to attend. In reply he said that there was nothing he could do so I had to wait. I saw an employer walking past and asked him if he could help me and reluctantly he came over and said the the service checkout were not working and was rather rude about it. Coles has gone from not much service to none at all and that will be the last time I will be doing any shopping there.

Its usually not too bad here but for some reason your self check out area (you know the one where the customer does your job for you and gets no discount for doing it) was closed and only 1 register open. People with full trolleys lining up to wait, customer service is a dying art. Open more registers.

I happened to be going through self service with a small amount in my trolley because they never have any cashiers.I was told by a not so friendly staff member that it would be easier if I went through another aisle that's still self service!I wasn't holding anyone up it wasn't even busy,so I'm sorry what was the actual issue?

Coles at Patterson lakes was always quite good to go to. Now every time I go, they only have one way to get out and that door is always right next to people who jump on you to get you to buy something or sign you up for something, all I want to do is do my shopping without being hounded. Safe to say I’ll be trying to do my shopping elsewhere.
