Amazing service and a brilliant repair!I took a watch given to my dad for his 18th birthday to The Clock Doc to be refurbished for my brother's birthday. The watchmaker looked at the watch and diagnosed the repairs needed quickly and was able to have the work done within a week so that I could give the watch to my brother on his birthday (even though I was slack about taking it in!)Both the watchmaker and his wife were lovely to deal with and were super helpful too. I would absolutely recommend this business!

Amazing service. They fixed up my old Omega beautifully. The spring broke a month later - just weird timing - and they fixed that up with no charge.We’re very lucky to have this sort of place in Canberra. Thanks, Clock Doc.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I dropped my arch of a few weeks ago and was given a yellow ticket. My name and number were not taken. I went to pick it up yesterday, but had forgotten my ticket stub. They told me they couldn’t give me my watch without the stub. I said I could describe the watch, which I did, but the owners just sneered at me and said they couldn’t give the watch to me to protect me and maybe the real owner. This went back and forth for about 15 mins. I was able to describe the watch in detail. Finally, they gave me my watch. I paid $95.00 for a battery replacement. I walked out the shop and about half an hour later realised that the watch wasn’t even working! Waste of money and my my time. I’m wondering if they keep people’s watches and then sell them on???

Walked in off the street with my late father’s EDOX wrist watch which stopped when I dropped it…walked out 15 minutes later with a working watch. Very happy customer. Highly recommend. Thank you Mr Jason

I think maybe if you come with an expensive watch you’ll be fine. I came with a Fossil Twist (which is cheap) which I’ve been told by everyone else has cogs in front of the batteries … I mean you could just say you don’t want to waste time repairing a cheap watch, why point at your watch repair licence (?), imply I was telling you what to do and pretend to take offence at that? What moral high ground could you possibly want out of that interaction?Just put up a sign saying you only replace batteries for expensive watches - it’ll save everyone time.

Great customer service - friendly, professional and honest. Found The Clock Doc after an extremely disappointing experience with AJ Watch Repairs. It all worked out for the best, with Clock Doc servicing my Tissot much faster and cheaper than AJ.

I have an old German wall clock- not valuable but of extreme nostalgic value to me. I have had it repaired in Canberra previously at a cost of hundreds of dollars and on the last two occasions it was in the repair shop for several months at a time. Despite this attention, the clock refused to run for more than 20 minutes at a time. Yesterday i gave the clock to the Gentleman at the Clock doctor and picked it up 3 hours later - cost less than $100 and the clock has been running flawlessly on my wall since. I am SUPER impressed at the expertise, care and professionalism of the Clock Doctor- I recommend the service very highly.

Terribly rude, unwelcoming staff form the moment you walk in—worst customer service in any business I’ve experienced. Went in to purchase a vintage clock and a vintage watch. Very hard to get prices for items in the shop and many things “aren’t for sale”. Asked to see a vintage watch on public display, told me the price in a way that was demeaning and rude, assuming I couldn’t afford it when I knew exactly what I was looking at. Once I examined it, I asked if it was polished (it was), shopkeeper told me I was telling him to do his job and grabbed the watch out of my hand. Horrible experience all-round, take your clocks and watches elsewhere.Some interesting pieces in there, but I would never give money to these people after being treated this way.

I’m am very sad after being charged $800 per clock for 2 clock to be repaired. Since this repair a local repairer had told it it should have cost us $400 to have two clocks fixed not $1600. And the mechanisms are from Korea. Very sad to be ripped off a large amount of money. Shame on you. My parents are 93 and 85 and you charged me $800 for a $200 repair. My clock cost $800 as well to repair. You could not even centre the piece in the middle. A joke for a clock only worth $200. And we paid cash. So sad.

OMG I’m shaking from my horrible experience.We walked into this shop and asked the lady if she could change battery for us, explaining the watch is a little complicated. She suddenly get offended and started yelling at us, telling us to leave the shop and not to tell her how to fix watch coz they are ‘qualified’. I have never had such a horrible experience and my hands are still shaking!
