This review is long overdue ...I had my hair coloured with Teneale last December I think. I have extremely long and thick hair so I opted for something very natural and long lasting as my hair is so damn expensive to up keep.I just want to commend Teneale on how attentive she was listening to everything that I wanted whilst using her own skills and initiative to fill in the gaps. I was very happy with the end result and even more so now because months later I still look fresh. I will be back here for my annual colour haha.The other girls were very accommodating and attentive also, given the mass amount of hair I have you can imagine I was at the salon for a long period of time so it felt nice to be taken care of.Side note: the salon aesthetic is such a vibe. x

All of the staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional. They provide top quality haircuts, I'm always happy with the way my hair looks afterwards. It has recently been renovated and is very stylish. The finer details have all been taken care of- massage chairs, blankets(if you feel cold under the air-conditioning) and they make a great cup of coffee. Very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend.

Have been going to H&OS for 2 years now. I’m always so happy with my hair (and receive many compliments) and they do exactly what I’m after. They’re attentive, professional and obviously very skilled. Also the hair treatments are like a visit to the day spa.Highly recommend!

I hadn't cut my hair in a while and knew I had to get a bit cut off. I clearly said it had to be long enough to tie back. They cut off so much that I can't tie back my hair without pinning bits of it. I had long curly hair before, now it is so short and frizzy that I will have to tie and pin it back all the time. My hair takes ages to grow, so it will be a good year before I am happy with the length. I also said I wanted to go lighter, but now my hair is darker than before. Expensive and disappointing.

Hair & other stories absolutely restored my faith in hair salons. Teneale did an bloody amazing job at dying my hair. I'm so happy with the results!

Unfortunately my experience was nothing like the ones I have read. I visited the salon a few weeks ago having my colour done I specifically asked to make sure my Hair doesn’t turn yellow. I do have a difficult colour to match which was the reason I searched many salons before booking. I had a complete line across my head showing the retouch as clean white and the rest a distinctive yellow. I was so upset and went back a few days later to see if something can be done. All I ended up with a very expensive experience and a complete disappointment from the service. I was charged twice without any better results.

I came into this salon just before Easter. I had Teneale tend to my hair. She is extremely personable, attentive, professional and a fabulous cutter. I’m very happy with how my cut/colour/high lights turned out ( I’m really quite fussy )The salon is aesthetically pleasing, clean, has good lighting and very comfortable chairs.I was even offered a glass of wine ( very much needed after the day I’d had )Sally, the owner, is a lovely lady and very welcoming.I’ve booked my next hair appointment…Thank you ladies,Jo Abbott
